Oxycodone Break Through Med
UpdatedI had my foot impaled by a forklift blade in 2007. I almost lost my foot. Four surgeries including nerve and skin grafting from multiple graft sites. My dr to this day has me on a 5mg oxy dosage and will not budge. Yet I know someone who gets 225 oxychodone 30 mg every two weeks for a VERY trumped up injury. This is Bs. Sorry just venting. Cold as hell in Maine.

No problem, venting is freely allowed, we get many posts of such a nature.
There are many people who get such prescriptions for invalid reasons and it is very unfair to those that actually need them.
If the 5mg Oxycodone doesn't help and your doctor won't prescribe a higher dosage or let you try anything else, then it may be time to see a different doctor.
There is no harm in at least trying. Just make certain that whatever new doctor you see is sent a full copy of your medical records or that you take a copy with you, so they can see your exact situation.
