small clear round light brown capsul about the size of a pea ## The only small light brown capsule I can locate with an "M" imprint, also happens to have other markings as well (i.e. "0554 5mg M"). The "M" is also inside of a square box. This particular pill is identified as Oxycodone hydrochloride 5 mg. I have a small brown pill with 30 on one side and ON underlined on the other, I was told its an oxy but I'm not sure because I have been looking it up but everything I find says small brown pill with 30 on one side and OC on the other is an oxy but this pill doesn't say OC any ideas anyone, trying to be safe , not a guinea pig ## Based on the description provided, I believe that pill is the new Canadian formulation of 30mg ER oxycodone which is "OxyNEO". I was able to reach this conclusion after someone else identified their round pink "ON 20" pill as Canadian OxyNEO (20mg). The "ON" was also underlined on theirs as well. I am in severe pain with carpal tunnel in both hands. I have been trying to find a pain management doctor in Virginia who is willing to prescribe oxycodone 30 mg. That's what works for me. I'm hoping this link works, it not please go to DEA/Florida/2012 in your search. The reason we are having such a hard time with getting scripts filled is that once again, one of the Walgreen's Dist Centers is back under investigation for overselling and 6 of the major Walgreens Pharms are also. I spoke to my pharmacist the other day and most of the Walgreen's in Jax FL are backing off of the orders for awhile due to this new investigation by DEA, drivers are being stalked and harassed, Pharmacy personal are also being threatened. It is a very sad situation for the people who really need this medication. And it is not only the oxy's, it is all pain med's. I have a rheumatoid condition and am prescribed both Oxycodone and Tramadol. I alternate between them, not wishing to become addicted. What I'm unsure of is whether they are different enough chemically to prevent my body getting too used to either one. I also take a day off here and there, but I just feel very wary. i have ms and need to fill here in weston, fl area. i am too disabled to shop from pharmacy to pharmacy. ## In your case, the best suggestion I can make is to contact your insurance provider, be it Medicaid, Medicare or a private company, and see if they have a mail order pharmacy on their preferred list. Getting a medication via that method can often make your co-pay even lower, or eliminate it entirely and it does away with your having to run around hunting for the prescription. That is most likely due to the fact that it is available as a generic, which by its very nature is already cheaper. Have you checked to see if you're eligible for any low-income coverage from your state or local sources? You may want to call your nearby hospitals and ask to talk to someone in their social work department, they can usually help connect with you the sources available in your area.

I normally use 30-50mg a time each day to maintain my pain. ## Hi Connie, Based on my research, the usual adult dosage for Percocet 2.5/325 is one or two tablets every 6 hours- the maximum daily dose is 12 tablets. The daily dose of acetaminophen should not exceed 4 grams. Be sure to only take the amount that has been prescribed to you by a doctor. The general dosing guidelines state that a recommended dose of acetaminophen is: 325 to 650 mg every 4 to 6 hours or 1000 mg every 6 to 8 hours. I suppose if you could manage your pain under those guidelines, then in my opinion you should be fine taking "5mg/650mg" every 4 to 6 hours to remain within safe limits. However, if you're used to taking 30-50mg of oxycodone, I doubt this combination would be nearly as potent. Are you just not able to get your scripts filled for those higher dos...

Does Oxycodone come in capsules? ## Green and White capsule suppose to be a oxycodone 15mg. Has anyone ever heard of them? ## Yes I have seen those and 30 mg ones that are the same color. These capsules had no markings to speak of, did you find this to be true as well? ## And to clear this up, in the U.S. there is one dosage of Oxycodone available in a capsule and it is 5mgs, they all also have markings on them.
