I am looking for a Dr in Tampa. I already have a current MRI. My problem is that I need a Dr that will prescribe me Roxy 30's even though I do not have a prescription history of them in the past year. My prescription history has just been for vicodin and percocet this past year. I have already gone to Padgett and they wouldn't help me because I didn't have any scripts for them recently. If I take 3 15mg oxycodone n I get a lab drug test in 7 days will it still show up? Plzzzz answer asap!!! my husband has been taking RX oxycodone and several other narcotic pain killers for over 3yrs in high doses - he goes from one pain clinic to the next - it has changed his personality - how can this be stopped - he needs back surgery not narcotics which these doctors give out like cany ## If he is in true pain, you shouldn't be trying to report him. Did you ever stop to think that maybe he has been trying DR after DR to find one that may actually be willing to treat his pain with the correct amount of medication? Back surgery can sometimes do more damage than it can help, chances are he'll be on high doses for life if he does go that route. Okay you can choose to belive this or not, on a site where many people (not judging) have addiction struggles and are trying to beat tests. But its the truth. Ive never even smoked a camel light let alone done any drugs for recreation. Sunday I went out on the water and got a gnarley sunburn. Why can't I get my legitimate script filled in Tucson. What's up with that? People need to get their medicine. My condition requires me to take 15mg tablets every 6 hours. I use it for break through pain and a 100 mcg fentanyl patch. If patients can't get their required, legitimate scripts filled, patients get sick because our cycle of pain goes out of control therefore, patients are unable to manage pain. Sudden unavailability exacerbates pain and is counter productive to manageing pain. Please advise. I have a script for oxycodone, I don't always take it as prescribed. I do have a urine test coming up to make sure i'm taking my meds. since I rarely take the oxy, if I take a 5mg. pill for several days in a row, will it show up and provide me a positive test result?

And also will it be ok to do normal activities after I take a half? ## Anyone??? ## Come on ## Hi kay, Usually if there is a score line (divid) embedded into the tablet, it means the manufacturer purposely made it so patients could easily cut it in half. Since this particular tablet is scored, I would personally feel safe doing so. Regarding your concerns about doing normal activities afterwards, there's really no way to know ahead of time how this medication is going to effect you (since it really can effect each person differently). Taking half seems like a good place to start though, if you want to assess how your body reacts/responds to a smaller dose of it, before committing to the full amount. I have an appointment with my pain manage Dr. in 5 days. They do count my pills, I get 120 20mg. monthly. I will need to have 10 pills left when I see them. So ahead of time I set those aside. But I've had an unusually painful month, and realized that I was going to run out. I called my Dr.'s office and ask if they would okay 5 pills a day when needed instead of the prescribed 4. They said no, and that I should try to stretch out my dose. Well that hasn't worked. I now have 3 pills left. What would likely happen if I took 2 or 3 pills out of the 10 that I set aside? Have you considered other- less harsh- methods of pain relief? I imagine that if you are experiencing kidney failure you should seek emergency medical attention, and the doctors/surgeons may be able to provide you with alternatives that could help you-not hurt you.
