Hi I take morphine 30mg twice a day and oxycodone 30mg every 4hrs for break through pain. I have a severe bone infection that's been going on since February it's now October they tried IV antibiotics for 8 weeks didn't work within 2 weeks it was back worse than 3 months antibiotics and it's back they are going to do a 4th surgery and try to put the antibiotics straight into the bone marrow. If this doesn't work they're going to take my arm cause its spreading upwards it was from elbow down no up past elbow. I tore my ACL about 4 years ago, and no one will operate on it.I have been dealing with Oxycodone addiction since i was first prescribed my 5 mg percocet. I am currently DETOXING from around 500 MG of oxycodone per day for about the last 4 months. I've Dt'd many times before, but i am in it for the long haul this time. I haven't slept in two nights and tonight isn't seeming to be very promising either. I'm just looking for some support, maybe someone to talk to through the harder times. I am in pain management for my back, I am on 3 of the 5mg oxycodone daily equal to 15mg a day. I use more, a lot. Sunday I took 30mg of percocet, they were my mother in law since I ran out of mine. I have a urine test Tuesday morning, never been tested before. Will my levels show up or just the indication of opiates? Can I drink a lot of water to water the urine down so the levels are not too high or do they not test levels? I have benign intracranial hypertension and have had surgery for a VP Shunt to put in. I suffer still from daily headaches & migraines to the point that I have lost my job & insurance & most days I am bed ridden. I am trying to find a different and LEGAL way to find a doctor out of my area that can possibly help and provide me with pain medication in order to try to get back to some sort of life. Understand that I am looking for something legal. I have been dealing with this for almost 15 years and my tolerance has built to many medications. I know what works for me but am unsure what to do. My doctor RX me oxycodone but I am sick of doubt and I have a mouth test this Tuesday. if I use heroin in the test I will be OK? Because everybody said they are the same ## Heroin and oxy are two different substances. Oxy should not show up as heroin and visa versa. But if heroin and oxy are on the same panel then they should show up on their respective screening windows.

I've been taking 30 mg oxycodone for about 3 years now and I've been going to the same pharmacy for about a year and a half but was told yesterday that they will no longer b carrying them. I've been to about 40 pharmacies in 2 days and I'm having no luck. I've heard a lot about the capsules. However, from what I hear, symptoms tend to get worse over the first few days before leveling out. Usually for drugs like this, the safest way to stop taking them is to tapper off them, under a doctor's supervision; if possible. What is the difference between roxicodone and oxycodone ? ## From what I understand, Roxicodone and Oxycodone are both the exact same medication. The only difference you might find would probably be in the list of inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) that different manufacturers use in their tablets. I think the real confusion sets in when people start discussing Percocet (which is sometimes partially labeled as Oxycodone). However, it also contains Acetaminophen; the differentiating factor between those two meds. Found a clear capsule with green powder inside no markings at all. Was told it is oxycodone? ## If there are no markings on it, then it is not a U.S. manufactured Oxycodone product, as they are all required to have markings to enable their identification. This leaves a few other possibilities, it could be a product that was specially ordered by a doctor and done by a compounding pharmacy. It could be a foreign medication, or the one that is most likely, it could be an over the counter product. Just as an example, the ones I've seen that meet this description are a green tea supplement sold in my local health food store. Does anyone else have any ideas? ## It could be Pure Moringa. I have kicked heroin, oxy, vics, methadone and other drugs. Detoxing from opiates is one of the most painful and seemingly impossible tasks to accomplish.
