i need to know what over the counter pill looks like percecet 5mg ## To my understanding there are no similar looking OTC medications to Percocet and any Rx medication. Reason being is that every prescription drug contains a specific imprint or marking to verify the substance, manufacturer, and dosage. No two pills share the exact same qualities in this regard, and therefore you may be lucky to find something even remotely close. If you have the wrong intentions behind finding a replacement drug (i.e. taking someone else's script), I would suggest reconsidering your approach, as karma does make its way back around in the most unexpected ways. Thanks ## Hey Dave, Concerning your question about oxycodone's therapeutic range, I imagine this would vary somewhat for each individual depending on tolerance and other individual factors. However, from my own research I would probably base my answer off of oxycodone's 3.2 hour half life for the immediate-release formulation. After that time frame following administration, the medication would no longer be at its peak so to speak (was not trying to rhyme there lol). Perhaps this is why they often recommend taking 1 tablet every 4-6 hours, since this is when more than half of the dose would've already passed through your body...

Very hard to find... ## Hi Melanie, Unfortunately, no one can really know ahead of time what a doctor is or is not willing to prescribe, as that is based on the doctor's discretion and not on someone else's previous appointment (especially since many doctor's are now worried about losing their licensing for prescribing too many narcotics). Some advice I can give you is to not specifically ask for any 'specific medication' when you see a new doctor. Just make sure to transfer or take a copy of all your medical records with you. I ran out of oxycodone will Percocet replace the oxycodone ## Hi Barbara, The Percocet will not be identical to Oxycodone, because it also contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen as well. More over, a closer comparison would also depend on what dose of Oxycodone you were taking, since the maximum amount of Oxycodone that they put in Percocet is 10mgs. Are you getting Percocet from the same doctor who wrote your script for Oxycodone? If so, he/she should be able to help you determine what amount you should be taking in order to provide adequate pain relief. I hope this helps!

a dr that will prescribe oxycodone ## My brother just moved to griffin Georgia last week. He is in a wheel chair, probably will be rest of his life. He is in need of a pain specialists. He is currently taking 3 ten mg methadone a day and four 30 mg oxycodone for a day. He doesn't sell or abuse his meds. Can anyone advise him where to go. Thank you.

I suffer with extremely painful MS and have not been on regular opiods since September of 2012.My neurologist had me on up to seven oxycodone 15mg a day along with the fentanyl 50 patches. He left the area and I have been to multiple doctors and I just get passed around now. All I am on now is tramadol.... I had my first urine test from my dr, n I'm usually given 5 #30mg oxy's per day, but ran short bcuz I was in pain thru the month n I didn't take any 2 days before my appt but I did take 2 one the morning of my appt. what will my ua test show? Ty ## Tough question Ty. Everyone's metabolism is different and they excrete drugs at different rates. Oxycodone can be eliminated from your system as early as 2-3 days and as long as 5-8 days. Also, if you took 2 the morning of your appointment, it may or may not have had time to get into your urine. It depends on how close to your appointment/test did you take the medication.

I take 10mg oxycodone every 8 hrs as needed for pain it is pink, round has a 12 on one side an N P on the other. I've been on this dose for about 18 months and most of the time it works great for my chronic lower back pain. Sometimes tho my pain level jumps to a ten and I still have 4 hrs before my next dose. It's unbearable! Can I take my dose any sooner when that happens? ## You should only take the amount prescribed by your doctor, especially if you aren't tolerant to narcotics. Does anyone know a doctor who will continue my oxycodone script in the Boston area. I have a herniated disc and degen. disc disease. iam allowed 6 15 mg oxycodone HCI each day I have eaten 24 in the past 52 hrs will my levels be good for a UA test tomorrow if I dont eat anymore.or maybe 1 in the morning so I can move. I received a call that my oxycodone was ready for pick up at Rite Aid and once I got there the pharm tech had told me that it was out of stock and there wasn't anything they could do or substitute it with when I had asked, "I've taken this medication for years and never had this happen, do you know when you'll be in stock?" The pharm tech replied, "I don't know when they will come in, it usually takes at least two weeks anyway and there isn't anything I can do for you, you can have your prescription back" and gave me my prescription and told me to try elsewhere because she was too busy to call other Rite Aids. I was just wanting to know if there was any diferences between the diffrent kind of thirtys between the m the k9, v,a, ## All 30mg Oxycodone tablets, that are generics for Roxicodone should, in theory, be the same and work the same. However, there can be some fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredients in generics, but they are usually too small to make a difference to most people.
