What is the difference in the slightly darker u224 pill and the lighter one that just says 224 both are oxcodone 30mg but the lighter color one seems to be less effective ## Hello, Js! How are you? The only one that is listed in the databases as being Oxycodone is the one with the 224 imprint on it. There is nothing listed with a marking of U 224. I have been on these drugs for 8 years. I recieved some a333 pillsand took my usual dosa and was considering a 911 call. I was shaking, my heart was racing. I received pills packaged as "teva pharmaceuticals usa ndc 0093-0033-01 extended release 80mg". They look like the real thing kinda at least for the packaging. The pills have an X scoring on one side and no product identifier. I called Teva and they are puzzled since their product was discontinued in 2008. They suspect wrongdoing and would like lots more info as in where the heck did you get these? ## I too received these. It's because the dea is shutting down all the pill mills and pain clinics in Florida, there was a time when people from my state,GA would go down there to use there clinics, the DEA caught wind of this and started shutting things down. So as of now April of 2013 all the people from Florida an other states are comming here to get the medication so they're not sick. Which creates a drought. The pharmacies cannot keep up with the demand and they also profile people that look like they would abuse or sell the narcotic pill. I personally use one mom and pops store, once you find a place that will fill it your normally gonna keep going back there since your on record, and if they don't have them they can call another one of their branches to see if they have any. I was taking Oxycodone 15 now for 2 years and it's not working as well. Now my doctor put me on Percocet 10/325 that really does not work unless I take 2. The pharmaceutical decomposition of dilaudid versus oxycodone is 4 milligrams of dilaudid = 10.67mg of oxycodone. When reading through these post its important to understand the differnt levels of metabolism of each of these opiates along with different foods and different medications also interfering with the absorption of both. You can also use a SSRI like cymbalta to increase the absorption of all these opiates. I am a pain management physicians assistant. If or opiates do not work for pain you should be looking into nerve blocks and epidurals as part of your ongoing treatment with opiates. ## Do not, under any circumstance, get on Cymbalta while taking pain medications. So you're definitely not alone on this matter. Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing what pharmacy has any given medication in stock, at any given time. From what I could gather, there was a shortage, due to imposed manufacturing limits at the end of the year, so it may just be taking awhile for all pharmacies to get a supply back in to fill prescriptions. Recently saw some ALL white (inside/out), CDN on one side, 80 on the other in Ontario, break up easily into powder. Has a slightly shiny coating. I believe these are China knock offs? Anyone have any ideas what is in these things? They do appear perfect...well made. The 8 is not bigger than the 0. The only thing that seems odd is there is a very small edge all the way around it...very small! Also the coating seems to have trapped some small powder dust under it...again you must look really close to notice. Looking at it in your hand...it looks identical to the green 80 CDN, only white! There may be Mexican brand names for it, but if you're looking for Oxycodone, you'll still see that on the label, since it is the chemical name. Pills that are close to oxycodne or look similar otc ## @Dakinm, Sorry to say this, but there are no OTC pills that resemble A333 oxycodone pills enough to pass for a substitute. This is mainly because no other tablet carries the same type of imprint; which is used to identify the substance, dosage, and manufacturer. I don't know what your reasoning is behind wanting to find something similar, but anyone who takes a moment of their time to look up the imprint wont be fooled by that approach. This may not be the kind of answer you're looking for, though, I believe honesty is the best policy.
