Looking for a doctor who will write oxys first visit near Gulfport MS. 30s or 15s doesn't matter. I have bulging discs and a damaged shoulder from a car accident. My doctor cut me off in Dec 2012. Need help ASAP. Thank you so much.

Hello, Kahltyler! How are you? I am very sorry that you're in pain.

However, due to the new regulations that have been put in place, it isn't very likely that you're going to find a new doctor that will prescribe such a medication on your first visit. Doctors have to be very careful, now, or they risk losing their license to practice medicine, as well as fines and jail time. Thus, most are going to require some recent scans to evaluate your condition and most will also want you to try other treatment options, before resorting to habit forming narcotics.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly? If so, having them refer you to someone might be the quickest and easiest way to get the help you need.

Can anyone suggest a good doctor in that area?
