I am moving to Florida from New Jersey in dec my Dr writes my scripts for oxycodone 15 mg and oxycontin 20 mg for two weeks and gives me both of them post dated to fill 2 weeks later for 2 more weeks bc of my insurance will I have trouble filling the post dated scripts from Jersey in Fl when I get there ? ## Hello, Jamie! I have a drug screen in 7 days and I am prescribed 15mg of oxycodone 3 daily. Well I accidentally dropped like 10 or so in the toilet, so I only have two left. I am prescribed 40mg of oxycontin 2 x daily and 30mg of oxycodone 4x daily for abdominal pain. On Sunday I became ill with a stomach bug that I got from my nephew that is still lasting although I do feel its starting to clear. I threw up oxycontin and oxycodone this morning. I continued to try to take my meds because 1. I had intense pain, the vomiting wasn't helping, 2. I am going to my pain management doctor and he will do a quantitative drug screen, and 3. It is not possible for anyone to post images of all of a given medication, when it's something that is available as a generic. Once it's on the market as a generic, then it is manufactured by many different pharmaceutical firms and they all have to use different imprints to enable the medication to be identified and traced back to them, in case of an emergency. My name is Jim and I recently moved (January) from Detroit here to Los Angeles. For the past 7 years I have been taking 30 mg oxycodone (not contin) for my debilitating headaches. I was on oxy's for 4 years and then I switched over to morphine sulfate 60s. AT one time I was on 14- 30mg oxycodone a day. When my doctor retired and I went to a pain center they immediately cut my dosage in half. At that time he started me on 100mg MS 2x a day. Now I'm completely off oxys and only take 2- 60mg MS a day. Looking back I realize the only reason I took the oxys was for that initial high and warm feeling. ## I'm very sorry about what happened to you, but am glad you've found the right medication to help you.
