Can a drug lab tell the difference between a 30 perc and a 5/325 perc. If I took the correct amt. of tylenol with the 30. Also, can they tell the difference between oxycontin extended release and regular percocet. Yikes getting scared. ## No, they can't tell whether you took Oxycontin, Percocet, or Roxicodone, or the generic forms of the latter 2, they would all just be detected as Oxycodone. However, yes there are tests that can check the levels of it and that would let them know if you were taking more than the amount prescribed, such as the 30mg Oxycodone, rather than the 5mg in the Percocet. I have been on 100mg of morphene twice a day with 5mg 325+ of oxycodone 4times a day for 6yr. Now my Dr. is going to stop all of that and putting me on 3 oxycodone 20s a day. My Dr. recently moved and I have been taking 30mg of Oxycodone 6xday for years. I also recently obtained my Marijuana card which my old doc was ok with. My doctor prescribed me Oxy Neo but when I went to the pharmacy they weren't covered they cost $350. That's way to expensive!!! Then the pharmacist told me about a generic brand which cost $170. This pill I BELIEVE reads V1187 it is round and white. It is also divided by a line thru the center. Blank on other side. Omg so glad to hear others. I had to have my doctor give reason to my insurance company to fill it as brand name .. Pay $50. More on top of it for the brand! The generic not good in fact bad.. Oxycodone metabolizes into Oxymorphone at a rate that generally does not exceed 15%. But........ Oxymorphone has a half life of 7-9 hrs vs. 2-3 for Oxycodone. So it is possible to pass for Oxycodone and fail for Oxymorphone after taking Percocet. ## i took oxycodone and oxymorphone why did my urine test only come up positive for oxycodone ?
