Hi I was just given a new type of medicine from Teva. It is Oxycodone 10mg hard capsules brown and white with imprint 10 oxy. I have been prescribed instant release for the past 4 years, but this is a new brand to me and want to be sure that it is not extended release, thank you.

Can someone please help me, I am disabled due to a terrible work accident and have been on oxycodone 30mg 4x daily for 7 years now and it's just not working anymore. My dr just wants to keep giving me very painful inj's. that just don't help, but if I don't get them he will not prescribe anything. What should I do? I'm so confused. Please someone help me.

This has become an ongoing problem on the east coast and there have been many posts about it. The best suggestion I can make is that you get in touch with your doctor and see if there's an alternative medication you can take for awhile, or if they can prescribe a different dosage that may be easier to find. Fractured T6, T7, and T8 in a fall 2 weeks ago. Was in the hospital for 4 days. They discharged me with some 5 mg percs but I ran out. Called my regular GP and he wouldn't give me anything. I am just looking for a doctor that I can bring my MRI and hospital records into and get a script for some relief. Any type will do as long as it isn't advil or a lidocaine patch lol. I live on Long Island but work in Manhattan so either area works. Please help if you know of anyone: {edited for privacy}

Round brown coated pill from India with score mark and no other id. Said oxycodone or codeine. The paperwork was smudged at the descrption line. Possibly real or fake? ## probably real- take it & see! Many pills over there are in blister packs & not individually stamped/imprinted. I have been skeptical but have gotten some great drugs too!

i live in new castle pa.and my pain doctor retired and i need to find a new pain doctor that is willing to wright oxycodone and opanas ## Can somone please help me. I have CIDP which is a chronic pain syndrome illness and I was being treated by a neurologist who recently had to stop prescribing under the DEA rules unless he turned in the pain management doctor himself and he did not want to do that. Can anyone tell me a pain management doctor or just a doctor in Pittsburgh or New Castle area who write pain medications based on previous medical records. I would truly appreciate it. I do not want to go into a clinic and be looked at like I am drug seeking simply because of the amount of pain meds prescribed which was 30 mg oxy three times per day and 20 mg opana er twice per day. I just ordered oxycodone HCL online and am concerned about quality, ripoffs etc. ## You have to be careful... ## Rb is correct. It can really depend on how you ordered and who you ordered from. Did you use a legitimate pharmacy and did you have an actual prescription? Or did you order from a small pharmacy that did not require one? This is a small round blue pill with the number 15 on one side and the letter M in a box on the other side. ## This tablet contains 15mgs of Controlled Release Oxycodone, the active ingredient in Oxycontin, this is a narcotic pain reliever. I'm wondering where i can fill my 30mg oxycodone script in vero beach, florida. Its a conn. prescription and my dr has no problem calling the pharmacy but i have been hearing crazy stuff about pharmacies here not stocking opiates because of all the pill mills here. ## I'm sorry, but I have no way of knowing which pharmacy stocks any given medication, in any state. And yes, that is correct, some pharmacies have chosen not to keep them in stock, due to the very high risk of being robbed. How have you been checking with the pharmacies to see if they carry it? Hi everyone xxx just want you to know I feel your pain. I didn't realise what this drug was until I tried to stop taking it?! I am so hurt and angry!! I was put onto 80mg of Oxycodone a day and OxyContin every four hours for a severely damaged pelvis from pregnancy. This was by a hospital that didn't believe anything was wrong with me!! I also have Fibromyalgia caused by the pelvic trauma and my discs in back are now deteriorating from the position I have to be in to avoid pelvic pain! To cut a long story short I was referred to the top trauma hospital in Uk and given a CAT scan which finally showed damage and I am now waiting for an operation to remove the front part of pelvis. Dr in west suburbs of Chicago that prescibe pain meds I have MRI and blue cross ## Greetings; I'm 65, had back surgery (laminectomy) due to disc ruptures at L4 & L5S1 when I was in my early 30's, was allright for a while yet never FULLY allright. With work (waiter carrying heavy trays) for more than 30 years, several motorcross accidents (loved the old, reliable Yamaha 250's!!!), scoliosis, degenerative dis disease, disc protrusions at L4-L5 (again!!) accompanied by hypertrophic artropathy producing stenosis at same; osteophytosis is seen diffusely (all this from last MRI dated 02/14) I've gotten proggressively worse. Have tried EVERYTHING except for walking on my hands 24/7 to relieve the pressure, and there is always more surgery which I WILL NOT DO!! I'm older...

I just got out of the ED for a major migraine that lasted days. They gave me 2-4 mg 2x. The pain went from a 9 on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the worst pain. Got it to a 4. How long does it control the pain? I'm scared to feel the pain again. I did just take 2 10mg oxycodones. Am I protected for a while? ## Meant to say 2-4mg 2x in 3 hrs of dilaudid. ## Probably about 4 to 6 hours, though there's no way to say for sure, since much of it depends on your own body. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. You should see your PCP for a preventative. Is there anything else I can help with?

i need my dr to go up on my oxycodone 30 mg from 5 times a day to 6 times a day can he do that ## any luck??? post if so ## It can usually be taken every 4 to 6 hours, so at the minimum 4 hours, that would be 6 times a day. There is also the possibility of raising the dosage, or switching to a time released formulation that may give you better pain control. Please tell me where the cheapest place to get my oxycodone 30's filled. I have been using Walgreens, but all of a sudden they decided that they wouldn't fill for me anymore because my doctor doesn't accept insurance. Does anyone know a reasonable pharmacy? ## Unfortunately, there is no listing of pharmacies that carry any given medication and their prices that I can refer to for you. The only thing you can really do is go to the pharmacy, with your prescription in hand and ask. But, if you don't have insurance, you are liable to get the same reaction at many of them. Hello if I'm prescribed 15 mg oxycodone and I ran out about a week before my pain management appointment and I took 10 mg oxycodone three days before my actual appointment and was able to get a hold of 3 15 mg oxycodone will the 10 mg oxycodone show up? Can they break it down to see which different milligrams you're taking or as long as it shows up as oxycodone it's all the same? Please help.
