I am prescribed to take 1 or 2 5/325 every 4 to 6 hrs for pain. I found a pink pill that when I looked it up said it was oxycodone 10mg but without the acetaminophen in it. I have to take random drug screens and I don't want to fail bc of my level or morphine being detected in my system. Can u advise if I take the 54 pink tablet will it show up as oxycodone?

I came up positive for Oxycodone on a hair test today. I went into addiction treatment for it a month ago. My doctor is sympathetic and wrote me a small script that he watched me flush so I would have some proof of being prescribed Oxycodone. Now, I know prior to a month ago my levels have to be ridiculous. He said he would lie for me if they called him. My question is will that one small script be enough to show proof of prescription? Yes, it's a oxycodone 10mgs used for pain from a doctor and is only given by a doctor unless you find it on the streets and in that case can be very harmful to yourself. I've been on them after having my son when they had to get him out with a C/section I was taking two so 20mgs at a time and even with being on them a short period of time when I did get off of them I went through VERY painful withdrawal that I wouldn't wish on my worse enemy so if your taking them PLEASE PLEASE be smart about it I was under doctor supervision and still got hooked to them. I am vacationing in Florida all week, and my Rx for 30 mg oxycodone tablets has come up missing. I have already contacted my doctor and he informed me there is nothing he can do about it. I really do not want pain to ruin my vaca, or go through withdrawal symptoms. ANY SOLUTIONS?? ## Where are you vacationing from? Another state? ## Yes, Ohio. Went to Sea World with the kids today and was close to miserable. Tried not to show it. ## That's a tough one. I am 214 pounds, 5'11, and in great shape, very little fat..my job is construction so im always moving and active. After any meal my digestive system rapidly works and have a bowel evacuation within a half hour like clockwork most my life and I only drink tea or water. I only use a couple 30s a month, what can I do to erase/cleanse any trace of these in my urine to test negative 3 1/2 days from now? ## I would tell you to drink as much cranberry juice you can for there and a half days and you should be good. Remember when you give the sample to think of your Blatter like a lake,all the sediments are at the top and the bottom. could fish oil, multi-vitamins, or not takin it for two weeks cause it not to show in lab urine test? ## Kat, I could be wrong, but it is my understanding that it only takes 2-3 days for oxycodone to leave your system. ## Educated guess would be no I don't think so. I've had my DNA test run to see if I metabolize medication faster and I do so you might be just a fast metabolizer. I have had oxycontin test show up negative 7 hours after taking one when they're supposed to last 12 hours.

I have been taking percocet for almost 7yrs now. I was diagnosed with a very rare disease(systemic mastocytosis with urticaria pigmentosa) and I get excrutiating abdominal pain. Well I recently took a urine test(which I have taken many throughout the yrs, and all have been fine), but this last one came back positive for oxymorphone and negative for oxycodone. Why would this happen and how is it possible? I have never in my life taken anything else for pain other than motrin and percocet which is prescribed to me. Does anyone know what the case may be? I am trying to find out if this pill is even a pain pill. Oxycodone or hydrocodone ## Just google it. Simple, I just did it for you. That sounds like an anti depressant used for smoking cessation, Bupropion 150 mg. No pain pill. ## 150 mg Bupropion hydrochloride extended release tablets (made by Sandoz) don't actually fit the full description that was provided. These particular Bupropion pills are purple, but they're also round - NOT oval - And are marked with "E 415" as opposed to just "E" by itself. Having said that, there don't appear to be any other close matches on google (at least within my search). oxycodones were compounded Here in FL due to shortage of tablets, different pharmacies use different capsules so there is no set color & being pharmacies have compounding liscenses they don't have to mark the pill being if ur looking them up chances are your not prescribed to take them.. anyway hope this post was useful. ## Thank you for your informative post! I just went to my pain management appointment, which I go to every month and have been told to find another office. My usual doctor had been on maternity leave since July this year, however she never returned. I had still been receiving my regularly prescribed meds by a nurse practitioner covering for her. Now on this most recent appointment, last week, there is a new pain intervention specialist that refuses to continue to prescribe narcotic pain meds. She said that she would start giving me inj's. next month, if not, I am to find another doctor. I have hemiplegia, right side from a failed neurostimulator implant, 3 cervical spine herniated disks and am in constant pain. So what the hell am I supposed to do now?
