Oxycodone Doctor In Nj (Page 2) (Top voted first)

Updated

I need a doctor that will prescribe oxycodone 30mg in New Jersey. My doctor recently took me off of 30mg oxycodone because I tested "negative" for oxycodone because I lost my prescription that month. I was seeing him for 2 years. I have a serious back problem - 4 discs are herniated and 1 disc is GONE. Most doctors just want to refer me to a orthopedic doctor to get surgery. I DONT WANT SURGERY I am too young!! If you know of a doctor in NJ that will write oxycodone 30mg please email me {edited for privacy}. Thanks!

Yup, we all got screwed again. Rand lost his conscience, every time he needed money he increased fees with pain. The plan was to double the fees starting in August. I truly believe he saw us as addicts rather than patients. Regret I ever trusted Rand. Where there is smoke there is fire. Rand will someday be back in jail.

He will only write for suboxone. Not even a 30 day prescription for pain meds. Sends a pretty strong message.

Staff said he had been arrested. Released on his own recognizance. DEA sent in 2 fake patients who were part of the sting. Again, this was per the staff.

The staff told me he had been arrested. I haven't been able to find anything on line, however another doctor who I will not say the specialty for their own protection told me Sloan had been arrested. Apparently other docs get notified so they can be notified about potential drug seekers (not calling anyone here that. I too am a patient for many years). This whole thing is hard to process. He gave such a good exam, screened us through monthly testing, counted our meds.

Dr. Rand should be the one writing scripts for 30 day supply to all of Dr. Sloan's patients, not Suboxone. I feel a class action coming on. Patients are in withdrawal and someone may die. Then who's responsible. Dr. Rand's got it all wrong. People should show up there when he's there...how can he do this to all these loyal patients that stuck by him when he. Dr. Rand, went to jail and promised he'd be back and the practice will be better. He's done nothing for his patients just took cash payments and raised the fee to 250.00 a visit and right after that Dr. Sloan's arrested... I

It's a wrap bro... once you screw up a urine cuz you "lost" your script, that is now in your medical history and no doctor will touch it. My advice is Google no insurance oxycodone doctor. I'm from Boston, and up here there are a million doctors that are CASH ONLY. I myself pay $180 cash once a month and in turn I'm handed 3 scripts... 1st is 84-800mg Gabbapentin, 2nd is 84-8mg Suboxone films, and 3rd is 84-30mg Adderall IR (Instant Relief) all 3 are a 28 supply, hence the quantity of 84. Depending on the laws in your state, (for example Florida has ZERO HEALT INSURANCE. If you are from another state and have health ins. it don't matter. Pharmacies down there are CASH ONLY. It's the #1 reason that state is a STR8 UP MESS. GREAT JOB JEB!!!) you live in, you might get lucky and find a doctor that is cash only. Also if u do find this, Im 100% positive the prices will vary widely, so call as many as you can to find the cheapest doctor. Good luck

Peggy as soon as I figure out a way to give you my phone number without it being on her for all to see. People need to get together to file as class action suit. Lawyers and other medical professionals said this is legally and medically not right... how can we get in touch with each other???

Hi. I don't know how to post info to get in touch. I'd like to, though. My husband is in a bad way, and God forbid he loses his job over this. I've talked to other Wayne patients, and the story is the same. Nobody can find a doctor. I talked to several offices today and if you can even get in, one was $700.00 for first visit. Dr. Sloan won't take the fall for Dr. Rand. I tried the DEA today, and got a recording that they are unavailable and not to leave a message because it won't be answered. Dr. Rand is responsible for this.

Hi I was also a patient but in a different office & it's the same case I received a call a few days before my appointment & they said sorry Dr. Sloan is not working anymore! I asked now what they said well we're giving you notice I said what notice not even a week to find someone isn't notice they said they had asked some Dr. Not one from their office to look over the patients files & she would contact the patients if she felt she could take them as a patient! I asked about Dr. Lopez cuz that's who should of been taking over but the office tol me Dr. Lopez would not touch any of Dr. Sloan's patients. So I too was left with nothing!!! If anyone knows anything more please let me know thank you! P.S Dr. Lopez is a sweet sweet man but if you can get into to see him his beliefs r a little different than Dr. Sloans & most likely will make some completly different changes but like I said he's a sweet man!

One time I went for the cheek swab and it didn't pick up any meds. I checked with a lab and cheek swabs are unreliable. I immediately requested that blood be drawn, and every time they wanted me to do a cheek swab I told them I would give blood and urine.

With a class action suit you/we (will have to talk over with my husband) should go to the abandonment route. If a patient is being treated and the condition still exists, the doctor must transfer care to someone of equal or higher medical care. I think they are trying to avoid it with suboxone thinking it will shut people up if they don't go into withdrawal. We all are also entitled to all of our medical records.

Just so you know, it is normal for the DEA to assess any practice. If there is nothing illegal going on, they put in the paperwork that they practice isn't breaking any laws. I'm still trying to wrap my head around how Sloan could have done anything wrong. Assessed with our complaints three times for a visit. Drug screening monthly. MRIs within three years. Physical therapy and if you can't afford that being taught what exercises to do at home. Presenting your case to him every month to ensure your story doesn't change. If patients couldn't afford MRI's Sloan even paid for theme himself no matter where you went. Giving out his phone number so you could give it to other doctors to consult with him. I feel he got screwed because they were going after Rand. (Interesting, but the Healthy Aging Medical Center sign is removed from the building where it was in his old West Orange office. Did they relocate? Did they close? Raising the pain management costs twice in 8 months, $250 was what it was going to makes me think that practice closed. It also make me think that Rand no longer thought of the pain patients as people with a legitimate medical condition. He saw us as addicts. After all, that's what dealers on the street do.)

I 1000% DISAGREE with all these policies saying to Have Surgery. I have Severe Injuries to my back, I was 20 when I had a car accident and I stupidly let the Dr's & other places convince me to have surgery (& I was still young so that doesn't make it any better) and IT MADE MY BACK 20xs WORSE. I'm now 35 and can hardly walk. As far as Dr's writing for the oxy 30s it's Very Hard to find any. I was on those for like 11 years & they were & still are the only thing that really helped but I had to start a new Dr and even tho I was on those already for so long & despite the fact they worked good he still insisted on changing me to morphine (which suckered btw) & I have tried & searched for a drink who would change me back and still cannot find one...so Good Luck dude but I doubt you'll find any. The laws are so bad now they barely want to write for anything esp oxycodone (even those ppl like me who have SEVERE & proven pain). It's totally insane they would rather give you other stuff that doesn't work and leave you in dying pain be they're afraid of being "investigated"

I have no pain and not a patient I brought my family member to receive his records. The withdrawals your husband is going through I have seen. I watched it happen i saw everything I was a part of this situation as much as any of you are. I had to put my family member in the hospital for 5 days because of it. He was almost dead when he entered the facility his blood pressure was at the point he was going to explode. This all comes from the opioid usage. But, its time to look at the issue OXY's are a synthetic drug produced by a pharmacy it isnt even a real OPIATE. It is a drug used to shut down censors in your brain so you dont have the feeling both emotionally and physically. These pills are made to reduce the perception of pain. They take no pain away they just shut your brain censors down. I do know people need pain management and my family member is one but, to watch someone go through withdrawals like that is not right. Help is needed and you can get it. What these doctors were doing is not correct.

The doctor at the hospital was astonished with how high the opioid levels were even after not taking them for 2 days. He then looked at his script and said that the number of pills and level of potency was a path to losing your family member for life. So you tell me if they are the right thing for you? Maybe spend sometime reading about what is happening to your husband and whats going on in america. This is not NORMAL this is not a life to live and what these doctors have done is completely wrong. I wish you the best of luck.

Because of this whole nightmare I have been told he lost his DEA license to write prescriptions. So even though they closed the pain practice in NJ this affects his ability to practice in NY. If he is practicing in NY I would love to hear it. He's a really good doctor.

It's true. They make us sign a contract where the explain we are dependent like on a blood pressure medication and that an addict is someone who misuses medication and becomes addicted. Oddly enough when this office gets closed they don't get a new pain doctor but they will give suboxone which doesn't treat pain, just prevent withdrawal. Between that and the two increases in price this year I believe they no longer saw us pain patients as in pain. They saw us as addicts. We get demonized because someone there broke the law.

Johnny, so what is going on in Middletown, NY. We all heard he had his DEA License revoked. I know he's not at the NYC office because I called there. I was told he wasn't there could not see patients and the other Doctor's there will not take any of Sloan's patients from New Jersey. These Doctors would only treat NYC patients..

I'm in the same boat guys. Been with docs in Manhattan for bout 5 years and I was one of the first to find out. I've known since the week after my July visit it was the end of July actually when i found out and I've been stretching my one month supply into the end of 2nd month almost and I'm also struggling, can't work, can't have a life. I'm royally screwed and I've wasted about 1700$ so far that I DON'T have going to only 4 docs! I got a joke script from one and got told not to come back ever! And I'm dealing with chronic pain and anxiety so I don't even sleep if I could. It totally sucks. I feel everyone's pain!! God bless you all.

Because some people are a**holes! If they aren't hurt or do not live with chronic pain then they go on a crusade about something they know nothing about! Those people are a joke and don't count! Hang in there I've been on Pain Management for 10 years and now because of the DEA, I can't find a doctor and I have only 2 weeks of meds left...It's scary to us REAL pain patients! Good luck to you!
