Oxycodone 30mg Pain Clinics (Page 8) (Top voted first)

i have been having trouble getting a good dr who will write oxycodone 30 mg. my back has been broken before and i was going all the way to Florida (a 16 hour drive) just to get my meds. So if anybody knows of any it would be helpful. i live in KY so as long as it is closer that's fine. Thank you.

Sorry I don't know any docs in louisville that write scripts. my docs ex wife is a neurosurgeon in loisville but I don't know squat on her, sorry. I was fortunate enough to have 3 docs over the years. So when one would move off I'd see the next one (not dr shopping I mean I'd see that one until they left or retired) my last doc I saw him for about 9 years, u may want to look online in your area. people talk. you'll see quick who's writing scripts. only bad thing is when word gets out the doc writes they'll being the state will put pressure on the doc. the government controls who gets the Meds. I heard just this week there's a doc around Frankfort that's writing for roxycodone 30s and zany bars. not sure of the name, but I'll ask my buddy.

I've been on medication since 2004. Like so many others I have 5 or 6 problems, spinal stenosis, degenerative discs, sciatica, so many problems. At first my medication was changed so often, either didn't work at all, made me sleepy at work, made me sick etc. Then I found methadone, and it helped my pain like nothing else ever had. My dr moved and i'm in Lexington, KY and finding that most drs are giving out oxycodone 30s & 15s like there is nothing else. seems like they love to stick to these medications. I don't like them cause they are short lasting & I wake up sick every morning. Does anyone know a dr in Kentucky close to Lexington or in Lexington that still prescribes methadone?

You will not with the new 120 mg. morphine equivalent suggestion by the FDA likely get 30's prescribed again. I can die. I have progressed to Central Pain Syndrome so now pain is literally embedded in the cerebral cortex from so many years of suffering and have over 400 legitimate disorders. I am also for the past 5 years being seen in California by Dr. Famous (live in Texas). Due to regulations out there he dumped 30 out of state patients so you know what? No one wants us and we are legitimate.

The DEA is not pushing this FDA rule but because the FDA never did this before all doctors are adhering to it. Anyone here without real problems won't get 1/3 of what they ever were given and if they are just pill heads will get dumped.

If you are addicted you better find a methadone clinic and if no one here knows the routine they will make you come daily but it may save your life.

We all need to move to the UK. I know someone with horrible pain from fibromyalgia. She has no issues getting scripts and meds are cheaper there. The US. sucks. Obama wants us all dead, older people, or to buy on the streets because he is a drug lord!

Auto-correct messed up some of my thoughts in previous post. I will watch more carefully this time.
I'm highly suspicious that many of these posts are coming from the same source. Same mis-spellings, same effort to make writers come across dumber than rocks...it does not look good.
If you are north of the Mason-Dixon line and have a Pain Clinic in your town, by all means check it out, but do not expect help. With a thick file of test results, like MRIs, CT scans, x-rays, blood work, and visits to specialists, e.g., a rheumatologist if you suffer with arthritis, you *might* get help. If help translates as narcotic pain pills, which is what everyone seems to want. Everyone in health care is terrified of the DEA these days. Many doctors and pharmacists are abusing their powers by refusing to prescribe or dispense legitimate meds for patients in legitimate need. If you feel you have a true need, you're going to have to invest time and money for tests. If you're an overweight, single female over 40, your chances of getting narcotic help are slim. Sorry, but that's the way the game is rigged. Men who initially refuse drugs have the best chance of getting them. If the pharmacy companies and lobbyists were not so greedy, people would get what they need.

To the person who's trying to find a Dr in Atlanta try Dr Burnhouser on rock quarry rd in Stockbridge Ga. He will write pain medicine but he's going to want to do spinal injections I went about 4 times in my opinion he's a ass but if you let him have at you he will write about half of what it takes to dull the Pain if he don't work try Dr Gallant a much kinder Dr in my opinion hope this helps Gallant is on the same side of Rock Quarry Road Burkhouser is behind the Wendy's about 1/3 of a mile behind Wendy's burger joint. And do not let Burnhouser put the nerve stimulator in your body the trial one is very different from what Will be in your body and it's expensive to get have put in then when you figure it Does Not Work For You it's expensive to remove and you are stuck with a quarter million dollars down the drain. Peace Less Pain.

Yes drs still write opioids, they dont if u have no logical reason to be on them. People with legitimate pain, after thorough testing of course, will receive some type of pain medication. The DEA are cutting down on people that want them just to feel high. Those people are the reason it makes it harder on those of us who have a real medical condition that causes us long term pain to get help. I've been fortunate so far to receive pain meds for mine. But Drs have no doubt that im in pain after 3 botched surgeries & now I will suffer with a lifetime of pain at the hands of an inexperienced dr.

I had same experience. I want to stick you with injections but they won't give you any pain meds. Forget it.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news however no Dr I repeat no Dr will prescribe 30 mg roxicodone anymore. Regardless of our pain. This drug has been abused so much that Drs won't prescribe it. The fact that "you" are requesting it makes "you" suspect. Putting your medical history out there doesn't make "you" legitimate. I advise if you have a Dr keep it to yourself. Posting your Dr on here is only gonna make a flood of addicts rush to your Dr and next thing you know his office gonna close and then you're SOL.

Agreed that you can NOT request a desired dosage of a particular pain killer an expect Nashville Dr's to comply. Let your previous Health Records do the talking.
The 'PAIN MANAGEMENT GROUP' has multiple offices in the areas surrounding NASHVILLE. It's a clean office not filled with Drug Seekers. If your condition and pain are legitimate, I recommend this clinic highly. They've been treating me well for the past 6 or 7 years.
