Orange Subutex 153 Half Moon (Page 5) (Top voted first)

Updated

I use these and they work great. I was on the Roxanna Pharma ones that were circular in size and these orange ones work way better. Wish I had been on them from the start.

liqpluspatchanactiq, are you licking the sh*t outa one of them actiq suckers right now or something? or maybe just really drunk... my guess is both. I dont get what the big deal with fentanyl is either, if i was gonna be on something that strong give me opanas or hydromorphs

This is what I use. I'm MY opinion, they last longer and work better then the white ones. So many people are stuck on these round white ones which I took for a long time. At first, I questioned the orange...but seriously...I will not go back. They do have a bit different taste..but all is fine.

And that is not exactly what I wrote? Because you said bupe has a higher "affinity" than an opiate and I said more simply that bupe has a stronger bind to the receptor, i dont know know what I'm talking about? And yes naloxone is only used in the body when ived. Or to stop diversion, like i said. Tge naloxone still enters the body sublingually but with such a small absortion, you coukd just say it only activated when ived...heated up, in order to make tgat happen or try. So where was what I said any different? Im just not following you?

Also where did u get they derived buprenorphine from morphine? Is it cuz they sound the same at the end? You are so wrong cuz this came straight from wikipedia...Buprenorphine is a semisynthetic opioid derivative of thebaine. It is a mixed partial agonist opioid receptor modulator that is used to treat opioid addiction in higher dosages.

Naloxone is a blocker, it's what stops you from taking other opiates while taking suboxone. I'm not quite understanding the issue in the other comments tho. Suboxone is highly addictive. If left on suboxone for years, most likely one will abuse it. Addicts just tend to abuse any drug. It is a miracle drug for withdrawal, you can be in full withdrawal, pop a bupe under the tongue and your all better really fast. I'd not advise anyone who isn't an opiate addict to even take a piece of suboxone, you will get very sick. It saved my life. Idk what I'd do without suboxone.

Agreed. Except once again it's the buprenorphine that binds to the opiate receptors and dies not allow for other opiates to take a place because the buprenorphine is already locked in the opiate receptors. And yes suboxone is not a miracle drug it can help with withdraw and cravings but will not be successful unless a person is ready to stop, regardless. Also no, you can not, take suboxone to early after last use or you will get extremely sick.

Except for one thing...you can take suboxon soon after as long as the drug prior was not something put in your veins. If you have taken pk's and ready to start suboxon...you wont have withdraws. This is by experence...Even my pharmacy told me this. I take subitex now. Just adding this by experence only.

I think it truly comes down to everyone is different and reacts differently to subutex and suboxone, especially when it is right after their last dose of opiates and first dose of suboxone/subutex. I don't think it has anything to with the method of opiate administration, intravenous or not, it has more to do with the quickness (half life) of the particular opiate you are coming off of, how much you take daily, how often you dose that decides how quickly a person can first take a dose of suboxone/subutex. If taken too quickly, the buprenorphine will rip the remaining opiates from your receptors in your brain. Which is why a person goes into withdraw. This is because of the strength of bond the buprenorphine has with the opiate receptors in the brain which is much stronger than any full antagonist opiate.

I have a Suboxone habit and have had one for 5 years on and off. Anyways these are supposedly better than other brands, but I can't tell yet as I just took mine. My Suboxone habit is cheaper than my Newport cigarette habit. Take care u all.

Get sick. Get clean. Ftw. These meds are a life sentence. Don't take them for more than a week. Or you will be able to buy a house with the next 5 years you pay to postpone the sickness you have waiting for you. It's still there. Waiting.

Still getting the Roxannes. Been on them for 6 years. Have also tried the Teva (ovals), Hi-Tek(small arrows with 8), and the new 153 peach Actavis 153 ovals. I have found that the coloring in the new AcTavis cause massive migraines(due to the color/flavoring that they use, similar to the film strips and diet soda). I find the Roxanne superior to all other subutex (the Hi-tek) work faster but last 2/3 the time. I hope that is not true about Roxanne but like I said, I still get them every month.

First of all, if you don't mind me asking, where do you live? Also, where were you given this information? I've been on the 8mg Roxanne Buprenorphine for about 3 years and only that brand because it's the kind my pharmacy stocks but I have read all of these horror stories about these other brands not doing what their supposed to and that is keep us clean and not sick everyday and it seriously worries me because Subutex saved my life and I haven't even once relapsed since I started them. But back to what I was asking, I read your post a while back so I asked my pharmacy and they denied the claims and said they had heard nothing about it being discontinued and I was speaking to the head pharmacist that told me this. But it wasn't enough proof for me so I called about three more pharmacies and their head pharmacists have me the same response but of course I also love in Texas so the laws could be different compared to where you live. I pray that they don't discontinue them here because they are the only ones I can afford due to zero insurance.
