Inmm almost out of tar and I don't want to re-up. ## Please help! ## Start taking twenty to thirty ml daily as needed to not withdrawal and increase five to ten ml a day until you feel like your on a stable dose. You should also find a clinic to go to because you will run out of methadone and methadone withdrawals aren't easy. Good luck and the methadone really works. I'm a recovering heroin addict and I have been clean for two months using methadone(60ml a day) and also good luck again! ## im not sure 100mls off methadone is going to do it for you? you use up to a gram a day thats quite a habbit please dnt take offence as i am a recov...
I'm on the suboxone program and I gave a UA today and it came out positive. For what.... Idk. They don't say, they just send it to the lab. I take a series of medications like Keppra 1000mg, metformin 500mg and ibuprofen 800, but along with those the only new things i started taking are Bactrim DS 800/160 mg, clindamycin 300mg and hydrocortisone cream USP 1%... Can any of these cause a false positive?
Updated in SuboxoneI am looking for a subutex physician in fall river, mass. area. I am allergic to suboxone. I have insurance. If i have to pay a fee i will not go. I desperately need help, please. ## Hello. As an ex junky I really need some subutex to help me to feel better and not so anxious, life has been very hard. My doctor does not listen to me. In fact he is very worried about is reputation as a GP. He told me, sorry Miss I'm protecting myself!! I left his surgery in tears and felt let down by him the only option he offers me was antidepressant. I dont want antidepressants, I want a strong pill to make me sleep when i feel suicidal. ## Seroquel at night will help emensly! 50 mg @ bedtime. Your physician shouldn't have an issue with giving you this as it is a mood stabilizer abd it actually...

I belong to a large foundation, which has its own doctors, psychs, facilities along with dispensing methadone.I suspected medicaid fraud because i was not receiving any of my benefits. when i informed the director. senior staff began refusing to give me their names, id cards, stop coming to work on my medicating days(fridays) only. fabricated my expulsion and refused to show me proof or an appeal. the compliance officer impersonated the President&Ceo of foundation and "persuaded" me to drop grievance. i contacted the state agency to investigate. I just found out, they are all friends & colleagues and the lead investigator went to the directors wedding. does anyone know what type of attorney i should contact and has anyone else sought legal action against a clinic or have fac...
I'm on my 5th week of the 10mg patches. I have no side effects, But it doesn't take my back pain away. It does help. I was on 30mg oxycodone 4 times a day. It did take the pain away. But I lost 35 lb and I didn't have 35lb to lose. I looked like a scare crow. I couldn't eat. I told the pain Dr. to get me off the Oxy. He gave me methadone to get off. It took a month. I go back to the pain Dr Tues. I want to try the Butrans 20. I hate to see the cost. I paid $239.00 for the 10s. ## Hello, Dal! How are you? Have you considered trying the Fentanyl patch? It is a much stronger analgesic and is available as a generic, so it's much cheaper. Learn more Fentanyl details here. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects,...
Used to live in Jacksonville, Fl and was on a methadone clinic, but a friend introduced me to an MD who could do it privately. This turned out great! However, I had to move to a small town and the closest cities are either Belleville, illinois or st. louis, missouri. I've looked everywhere for a private md, and have had to turn to finding whatever pills I can on the street. Can anyone please advise of any private md's I can go to. Otherwise I'm going to either go broke, jail, or rehab. Theses are not options obviously. So, someone please help! ## I live in jerseyville, il. I'm going to a clinic for methadone but i cant afford it. Can u help me find a doctor? ## where is this and who do I contact, it's an important please help ## Did u ever find a doc. N the same posi...
i use methadone pills from a year now and just want to get rid of the addiction. ## Dear Zayed, I use 2 b on methadone. I was on (110mg) a day. When it came time 2 taper, I went through horrible withdrawals. I made it down 2 (24mg). It was pure heck! The key is 2 do it VERY SLOWLY. There r also medications that can help. Such as clonodine and other meds. Maybe, an anti-anxiety med. talk 2 your Dr about it. Me, personally, I had 2 go on suboxone after I got that low. GOOD LUCK! It's a hard drug 2 get off. ## ya thats true really hard to get rid of it.. ## Dear Zayed , I think they can prescribe Tramadol 2. Hope this helps. ## I have been on Metadol for about 13 mths. only 17 mgs. 3 times a day and it is not doing anything for my chronic lower back pain and don't know what to do b...

My last 5 mg was 2am so I just picked up my subs I'm in some w/d can I take my subs with out getting sick?? ## I just want to post that I took my 8mg of subs about 10 hours after my last methadone dose and I'm toyally fine no presibW/D I might have just not at enough of the metahadone in me but just wanted to post so everyone else there knows!! ## I am very happy that you've done so well. In most cases, one must be in full withdrawal, again, before restarting Suboxone. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Are you st...
I've been clean now for a number of yrs, was only taking a half of a one mg subxone. So why would a doctor put me on Bunavail? It's for opioid users. I'm not an opioid user. It's been over 15 yrs since I took opioids, I'm not understanding why my doctor wants me on Bunavail flim 4.2 mg twice per day. What are your thoughts? ## Bunavail contains the same active ingredients as Suboxone, Buprenorphine and Naloxone, and Burpenorphine is an opiate. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Did you ask your doctor why he wanted to put you on it? ## Bunavail is an excellent version of buprenorphine/naloxone as it has fewer side effects and tastes fa...
These are horrible. I have been taking these for about 3 weeks now. Along with the reduction in potentcy I am experiencing headaches. I was put on these at my request after 2 major abdominal surgeries after my bowel ruptured in 3 places. After being on Fentanyl and dilauded for 6 months in the Hospital and then 3 months after being released. After being on such strong opiates from the surgeries, I discussed this with my Doctor and we.agreed on Buprenorphine. Since this switch to the new oblong orange 153 pills I have to say, it is a noticeable difference and increased daily headaches. ## Hi Joel, Sorry to hear about your experience with the new Buprenorphine tablet. I've actually seen a few other posts on this site from patients who also agreed that this orange tablet wasn't as ...
I have used suboxone for opiate substitution treatment since 2006. I am on a monthly refill schedule. I picked up the refill yesterday and found that the table had changed from the orange five-sided tablet, to a thicker, white, round pill with 155 on one side and the crescent moon on the other. I was going to return it to the pharmacy when I decided to look it up online and am glad I found your site. ## Hi Robert! Very glad that you found the information you were seeking. There are some new Suboxone generics on the market and it is completely normal for your pharmacy to switch which one they provide you with, depending on whether or not generics come available and whatever manufacturer is offering the cheapest price at the time they need to restock their supply. It's how they keep p...
orange stop sign shaped ## I assume you're referring to Suboxone, that also matches that pill description. It contains the active ingredient Buprenorphine. This is a narcotic used to treat drug addiction and cases of severe, chronic pain. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and dizziness. You can read more here: Is there anything else I can help you with? ## is it easy to get off of it? i was on it then stop by insurance ive been sick ever since
Some doctors have prescribed methadone to my aunt as part of her pain management for cancer treatment. Is this a common practice for tjis drug? ## what amount of methadone helps with severe cronic back pain? ## Yes, this medicine is good to take away pain when a person is hurting from having cancer. My boyfriend is on Methodone 10mg and while it's very strong to where he talks to people who are not there it does take his pain away and he sleeps alot of hours. He also suffers from Hep C so combined with the cancer and the hep c he gets relief so yes, it's good to take when someone is suffering so much which he is. He tried Loratab but it has something in it that isn't good for his liver so yes let her take it because there is no reason for someone to suffer so bad when methad...
I have 4 mg of dilaudid but in on about 170mg of methadone, I recently feel and sprained my elbow and was wondering if this will take away the pain, or will I be taking it for no reason ## Hi Joanna from RI, because u r on such a high dose of methadone, taking the 4mg of Dilaudid will probably defeat the purpose. I wouldn't recommend taking the Dilaudid. You probably wouldn't get any effect from it anyway. But, I wouldn't mix the 2. I'm sorry 2 hear about your pain, I suffer everyday with pain. But, I'm on suboxone. Use 2 b on methadone, which helped much more with pain. But, I switched 2 suboxone. What a dumb move I made. I'm also from RI. Good Luck! ## No dilaidid is on of those meds that work great on pain while takeing methadone i was on very high doses of me...
The mother of my child is in a methadone program. She sleeps a lot and I've seen her nodding off on the couch but not lying back, sitting up! When I ask her about anything to do with her addiction problem she does not want to talk about it! If I press her she gets quick tempered and hostile! I think she's buying extra methadone and abusing it because she shows all the signs of it from what I've read about it and I fear for my child's safety! ## Yes, it is a narcotic opiate, so it could be discovered via various exams. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is she on any other medications? Have you tried consulted a social worker?
I am currently undergoing Suboxone therapy , with the film. I am on a stable maintenance dose and live in TN. I am looking to move to Louisville KY and wanted to know if the laws are different for how the medication is prescribed, I.e. others have indicated KY doctors do not like to prescribe for maintenance vs weening therapy. This medication has changed my life for the better. I am fully functional and working and alive again. I don't want to have to worry I will be kicked off the medication by moving. Please Advise.
Updated in SuboxoneHi all. I'm desperate, please. I've been on prescribed opiates for the past 6 years for Chronic Pain. I'm starting to become extremely emotionally addicted to them, so I chose Suboxone. I was there for my first doses today - 2, wait an hour, then 4, then go home. Things were fine for an hour, then I started nodding off and had to put myself to bed, where I've not actually slept, just drowsy as. It's awful. My Dr told me the therapeutic dose is16 so he's aiming for that by increasing 2 a day. This is why I wanted off opiates!!! I have a 13 year old son with special needs and he needs me!!!! I'm a wreck! Is this going to go away once my body adjusts, or do I head for the hills now???? I cannot do this. I need to be able to function. ## I'm so sorry guys, I...
I had a drug screen last month from my pain management doctor that I've seen for 3 years without ever failing one. Here's the list of drugs I supposedly had in me: methadone 4500 ng/mL, oxycodone 225 , heroin 3850, used within 24 hrs. of urine collection, morphine 3840, hydrocodone 1320, norhydrocodone 489, hydromorphone130, noroxycodone 225, 6-monoacetylmorphine 16. The methadone and oxycodone is what is prescribed to me by my doctor. I am a 57 year old female that doesn't abuse drugs. I went in to talk to my doctor, but he wouldn't' see me.How would I still be alive with all those drugs in me and what do you think I should do? ## Ive been on Methadone 38 years and have had false positive UA's! This is how screwed up UA's can get! Ive been dirty before and c...
Took 10mg of suboxone ending at 8:30pm and 5 hours later I'm still feeling effects to the point of being uncomfortable. How many hours until this wears off? ## What specific effects are you experiencing? The FDA lists the typical ones for this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. It also carries the risk of being habit forming. Was this medication prescribed for you?
