No registration is required and your identity remains anonymous.I just moved out of state after a life altering accident. I have been on buprenorphine treatment, clean for over 3yrs. I'm unsure of what direction to go, pain management, methadone, etc. If it wasn't for getting hurt, I would be off the stuff or at least at a low dose! I hate the fact that I'm unable to talk for 3-5hrs a day...It's frustrating, especially with two kids and having to work my talking schedule around my med schedule! Anyone have any suggestions, advice? ## I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand, what prevents you from talking for several hours a day? Or did you mean something else and autocorrect just had fun with you? If you've had addiction problems in the past, most doctors are going to be very reluctant to prescribe you potent medications for...
I was just wondering if you accidentally swallow some of the suboxone instead of dissolving it under the tongue, will it still work? ## Yes, it just may take a few more minutes for it to take effect. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. How are you doing? Did you experience any problems?
Terrible hip pain from Arthritis. Taking 90 ml methadone liquid for over 13 yrs. Nothing can help pain due to methadone tolerance is so high. Friend gave me a Butran patch 15mcg/per hour, but after reading online advice I'm afraid of going into severe withdrawal of the methadone. I understand these two together will not work, but rather cause me great problems. I've tried Norco, Oxy-cordone, Percaset, n Ibprofin 800mg. If anything, the ibprofin 800 helped slightly, but nothing else even fazed my pain at all. I'm now seeing a pain management Dr. who has prescribed me lidocaine patches, and some type of non-narcotic inflammatory patches. I am waiting already over two weeks for him to pre-authorize these patches, so don't know if they will help my pain. Does anyone know of ...
I am prescribed methadone for pain i recently had some stolen.i was going to take tramadol but am really worried about the drug screen. Does it show as the same? How long before it leaves your system? ## Hello actually no it doesn't show up I promise you that. I guess were it's really not a narcartic
My husband and I were addicted to opiates for several years. We started on Methadone maintenance about a year ago and it has worked wonderfully. We are now ready to move on with our lives. We knew from the beginning that we were not going to be on Methadone for the rest of our lives. We are ready for traveling, babies, and life without methadone. My husband turned down an awesome job out of state to taper down correctly instead of quitting cold turkey, as the state the job was in had no methadone clinics. We both spoke to our counselors to discuss tapering off methadone. My counselor was very supportive, but, my husbands counselor is horrible and said that "he needs to come to the realization that some people stay on methadone for the rest of their lives". My husband explained t...
How long will the nausea last. I took half a pill of suboxone and rabout an hour later, I threw up and wazs dizzy as hell. I still feel sick and I don't kknow what to do. I don't normally take this kinda pill and bhave never been addicted to opiates ## Well Suboxone actually contains 2 active ingredients, Buprenorphine and Suboxone. That means that there are several possible reasons that this may have happened. One is due to the fact that the Buprenorphine is a very potent narcotic and it can cause the types of things you've described as a side effect, especially if you aren't used to taking it. Another reason could be due to the Naloxone, it is in this medication to neutralize other opiates and prevent their abuse, while someone is being treated with it, thus if you had...
These clinics make a ton of money, don't kick you out for dirty UA's, (just cant have take-homes) always have a dozen reasons why you can't lower your dose, (doctors on vacation, not safe ect) BUT don't hesitate to kick you out if you haven't got your money to dose, or lose your insurance!!! And 2x have dosed my daughter the wrong dose!!!!! She takes 3 5mg daily and last year screwed up and gave her 20 and 3 days ago doses her with 110mg!!!! The government wants to keep making money....If they truly want to clean up our kids then they need to get them on Suboxone, and make it affordable for them....not dose them up to 400 mg of Methadone a day!!! ## This is a bad clinic.my clinic would never hesitate to take you down if you wanted it.It is your call. And to go up you ...

Made a mistake and swallowed an 8mg suboxone pill (thought it was my woman's vitamin) with my 30mg oxycodone at the same time! OMG, what is going to happen to me!? ## Hello, Becky! How are you? Wow! I am sorry about what happened and I understand your concern. The main issue here, according to the FDA, is the fact that the Suboxone could cause you to go into dangerous precipitated withdrawals, which could include fever, chills, sweating, rebound pain, and seizures. How are you doing? Did you experience any adverse effects? The Suboxone could also prevent your Oxycodone from working for about 3 days. ## Will not effect you in any way,,IV done it a thousand times,,,but it will prevent the OXY, from working well,,hope this helped

Updated in SubutexIs hydrochloride in all Suboxone? If it isn't, why is it in the pill 54 375? What does hydrochloride do? ## It is not an ingredient in and of itself, it just designates the specific chemical salt that the medication is derived from, sometimes a pharmacy lists it on a label, or the doctor will list it on a prescription, and sometimes they don't. However, the actual medication and the way it works in your body remain the same. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as dizziness, dry mouth, nausea, constipation, and headache. Is there anything else I can help with?
I have read on several different forums that you can get "very high" injecting Subutex. First, whoever is posting this bogus info is going to get some poor fool killed trying. Speaking from an expert position- You do NOT get high. Subutex has a ceiling, you will kill yourself before you ever get high. Taking too much will stop your breathing and you will die! Subutex is a very powerful drug and its easy to OD on. It only partially blocks your receptors. Whereas an agonist causes an action, an antagonist blocks the action of the agonist and an ... a given receptor, but have only partial efficacy at the receptor relative to a full agonist. So, you can't get high. I get so angry when I see people posting BS like that because people kill themselves trying. I have seen two men st...
I need to find a dr. that will write methadone (that is not a clinic) in or around kentucky ## Hi melissa, Is there any specific city or zip code that you're looking in? I went about searching, but would inevitably need to acquire more details to narrow down the results I'm coming across. Just to help though, below is a methadone doctor based in Richmond, KY: Robertson D. Ward, M.D. Project R.E.A.C.H. 210 St. George Street, Suite 206 Richmond, KY 40475 (859)779-4440 I hope this helps! Please post back if you have any more details or information to add. ## Is there a doctor that will prescribe methadone pills in an office not a clinic ## I am looking for a doctor that will prescribe methadone maintenance in or near Florence, Kentucky. ## I have a doctor in Kentucky for you that r...
I swallowed my orange round Suboxone on accident. I am horrified that it's not gonna work or it's gonna make me sick. Am I not gonna feel it and feel dope sick? ## No, it will still work, it may just take a bit longer to enter your blood stream and take effect. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. How are you doing, now?

I need to find a doctor in or around Upper Michigan who will prescribe methadone. I am a morphine addict, but have been clean for 2 & 1/2 yearsusing Suboxone. The problem is the suboxone is not working like it use to. I also have chronic pain in my lower back and the suboxone does not help. I think methadone would be a better treatment for me...!!!?? ## I live in Laurel md, and have the same problem,I have been on the internet, calling hospitals, its as though a dr to precribe methadone for chronic pain does not happen,if you do happen to get some info on this please try to pass it on. thanks ## You'll find that methadone also is not a very good long-term pain reliever. Where I live the MDs have to prescribe morphine atop the methadone for those on maintenance if they have chroni...
I started taking suboxone almost 11 weeks ago. I was only taking 4mgs and today i went down to 2mgs. How long will it take me to taper to nothing and not have withdrawals? Please help. I am so sorry I ever touched these things. ## Hello, Karen! How are you? Regardless of how low you taper, you will likely still experience some minor withdrawal symptoms, once you finally stop altogether. Has your doctor provided any instructions? It does contain a very potent narcotic, to you do need to taper off of it as slowly as possible. Is this the only medication you're on? ## ive been taking about 2mg maybe less for about 2 years. havent taken it in three days trying to quit cold turkey. the only withdrawel symptoms ive had was no energy very little insomnia and a little anxiety eapecially whe...
I have been taking suboxone/zubsolv for the past eleven months. I was taking subs but my insurance refused to pay for them so now I am on Zubsolv 5.7/1.4 two times a day. I went to see my doctor on May 5, 2015 and got my script for 60 zubsolv. However, when I went to the pharmacy, the pharmacist told me that my doctor was no longer covered by my insurance, and I would have to pay cash. I have been buying a few at the time when I could afford them. Needless to say, I can't afford two a day so I have been taking just one a day. When I contacted my doctor, I got no answer for four days. I went to my OB/GYN for a routine exam and was told I need an outpatient surgery in four days. He gave me a prescription for Percocet (he knows I take zubsolv) for post op pain. Haven't filled it be...
