Quoted below are the precautions you should be aware of: "Using promethazine (phenergan) together with buprenorphine (suboxone) may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating. Some people may also experience some impairment in thinking and judgment. You should avoid or limit the use of alcohol while being treated with these medications. Avoid driving or operating hazardous machinery until you know how the medications affect you. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. I am prescribed two 8mg buprenorphine (subutex) tablets per day as I am deathly allergic to Naloxone in the combination medications like Suboxone and Bunavail. I have, at times had trouble getting my prescription filled locally. Sometimes the pharmacy I use regularly doesn't have them all, especially when I get a full month script, and of course, I find myself running back and forth to and from the pharmacy to pick up small pieces of my prescription. I left a daily dosing program to attend a once monthly clinic because I could not afford the trips back and forth. At times, I have to run to the pharmacy 3-4 times per week and it's approximately 70 miles round-trip from my home to the pharmacy, and on top of that, the clinic I go to is now enforcing once per week counseling so tha...
I have been on the 54 411 bup tabs for 5 years. All of the sudden my pharmacy doesnt get them anymore. I'm very sensitive to medications. I cannot take these ones that they gave me. Someone said they are discontinuing the 54s. I am from central pa. I'll travel to get them, I just heard they aren't going to make them anymore. Please tell me this isn't true!!!! ## I haven't heard that at all. The Rhodes brand is the best brand out right now. It's definitely better than the hikima west ward brand also known as 54 411. They used to be made by Roxanne pharma years ago and were much better. Then in about 2015 they sold to westward and that's when they changed the formulation for the first time. I noticed big differences from month to month sometimes with this brand...
I have been taking only 1mg a day of the zubsolv pill. How long till I am safe to just not take it anymore? And is it even staying in my body, because of the small amount? Can I safely stop? I have only been taking this for a few weeks. Please help. I wanna get off them... ## Why are you taking Zubsolv? This answer is needed, before anyone can know if it's okay for you to stop taking it. It is most commonly used to help treat drug addiction, and if that's why you were taking it, it may not be safe for you to just stop, due to the danger of withdrawals, which could include symptoms such as seizures, rebound pain, rebound depression, mood changes, and headaches. Ref: Zubsolv Information Are you on any other medications? What has your doctor advised?
My Bruce is taking suboxone for a week .. 8mg 2 times a day she had an accident has severe pain needs to go back to percacet for a bit .. Her last sub was at 4:30 today what time can she take pain med? Then after she relives major pain in few days she wants to go back to suboxone when after her last dose of percacet can she go back to suboxone without withdrawals ? ## I had surgery and was told by both the surgeon and the Dr. That gives me the Zubsolv...You need to be off the Zubsolv for 3 days before surgery so that the pain medication can work. The 3 days I was off the suboxone/naloxone I felt a little shaky, but that's it!! I don't think it's a good idea to take the pain med so soon. ## Yes, it takes several days off of Suboxone for pain medications to work for you, again...

I take subutex and I just want to know if I take jet alert, is it going to cause me to have a false positive for something? I've never failed a drug test and I don't want to start to now, but I'm having some serious health problems and need help with some energy. Can someone please let me know cuz I can't find the answers anywhere? ## Will show up positive for anything in a drug screen??? ## If you are taking jet alert, will it make you fail a drug test? ## Can jet alert cause me to fail a urine drug screen for amphetamines? ## It did for me, came up as amphetamines. ## I was looking to see if anyone else was coming up positive on drug screening if they're taking the jet alert because I have came up positive and the only thing that I take is jet alert ## That's p...
Has anyone here had any experience weaning themselves off of zubsolv? I've been on it for almost a year now and I really want to get completely off. I've gotten myself down to only half a pill a day but when I try to stop completely I still go through terrible withdrawal. Any suggestions? ## I have been on it for 7-8months with subutex, suboxone, some other one, and Zubzolv. IT IS HELL!!! I've been on the above meds off and on, but this time it's been 3 years. ## What dosage are you taking? Cutting down to only half a pill may still be too much and thus, could be the reason for the withdrawals. However, without your dosage information, it's hard to say. Have you consulted your doctor for assistance? The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate, so it has the poten...

Please let me have the info about the dr that takes Medicaid in louisiana. ## Hello, Sherry! How are you? There is a search engine on the website at Suboxone.com that you can use to search for doctors in your area by zip code. Their contact information will also be provided, so you can contact them to see if they accept your insurance. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## No louisiana doctors take medicaid for suboxone now if the doctor is medicaid approved u will pay cash fir your appointment and medicaid will cover your script at the pharmacy ## Not true. IDK how you can give ppl who are struggling & desperate FALSE INFO. Ther...
what kind of withdrawals will i have when I stop taking Suboxone? ## Your doctor should help you taper gradually to avoid the worst of the withdrawal symptoms, however, it is an opiate, so you will experience withdrawal effects just like stopping any other narcotic if you stop abruptly. ## Gosh, I hope someone out there will see this post and answer your questions because I have just started the suboxone also and the doctor wants me to stay on them for a good while. What will it be like when I want to come off these pills?? I would like to know what to expect when he says no more cause they all do that...get you hooked then when they reel you in they cut the hook off and your stuck with the pain. ## It has been 6 months and im still a wreck. Cant sleep massive weight gain from withdraw ...
I was just switched from the Mylan brand of Buprenorphine to the Rhodes brand. I haven’t taken any of the Rhodes brand yet. I have taken Mylan bupe for several years and totally love it. The only other bupe I have tried is the hi-tech and it made me extremely depressed and I couldn’t function at all, just felt so much anxiety and wanted to crawl in a hole! Who here has taken Rhodes and/or Mylan?? Any experience, please share! I have a couple days left of my Mylan and then I’m on to try the Rhodes. (This is only happening because Mylan brand got thrown on long term backorder and Mylan says they still have no update on when it will be back) ## Hello MommaMurph, Sorry to hear that the backlog of your Mylan brand is causing you so much trouble. I'm sorry to have to tel...
I took this medicine to get off of Hydrocodone. I don't even take a quarter of a whole one a day. I usually take a sliver about a quarter of an inch or less a day and that's all. I have been taking this small amount for about a yr. maybe a little longer? My question is I want to get off this now as well and be 100% clean. Im worried about withdrawal and need info to combat any withdrawal I may have especially the Mental aspect of the withdrawal. I take xanax by prescription and have no desire to quit taking it. I take the Xanax for other problems that came about long before any other addictions. So I would like some advice to get off Suboxone once and for all with the least amount of Mental symptoms, other meds I could use, proven home remedies, or anything proven to work? I fee...
I am 56 years old and am disabled due to a work-related injury therefore I am rich by no means! I have heard that they are considering taking methadone off the market due to too many overdose issues, plus people on it, get a prescription filled and sell it for profit making it even harder for folks like me who take my meds honestly as prescribed. If Methadone is removed from the market, what am I supposed to do? I already know I can not go off this stuff cold turkey and am scared. Does anyone know any doctors in the Warner Robins-Macon, GA area that prescribe Methadone ILLEGITIMATELY? I am not looking to sell meds, I just want to be sure I will not be in pain. I've been on Methadone since November 2008 and so far it works fine for me. I just neeed a backup plan just in case that doe...
I have been suddenly taken off of movantik because my insurance no longer covers it. I took it for OIC, it worked very well. This past week I’ve had to go without it and and I have experienced bloating, anxiety, sweats. Also I can't go to the bathroom no matter what I take in its place. Has anyone experienced anything like this? ## What else have you tried? It's kind of hard to make any suggestions, without knowing more details. There is another option available called Relistor, but since it is a name brand, your insurance may not cover it, either. Ref: Resistor Information When I was on opiates for pain, I had luck with just increasing my fiber intake using a fiber supplement. What does your normal diet consist of? Do you take in lots of leafy greens, and whole grains? ##...
I have been takin only up to 30 mg of percocet a day for the past eight months, I know that don't sound like a lot but I tried to quit and couldn't handle the withdrawals so I bought five suboxone 2mg and I'm wondering how I should go about treating myself, I want to be done with this, my life has turned upside down. Please help ## In reality, Suboxone is probably far too strong of a medication to be used for this, it is generally only used for people with severe addiction problems, that have been doing drugs and steadily increasing the amounts of them that they've been using for years. Doctors are also specially trained in the use of Suboxone, because the initial dosage has to be carefully calculated, to prevent withdrawals and then slowly tapered, over time, to enable ...
I take 20mgs of methadone, im wanting to know what would happen if I switch to subtex and would it would be safe to start the same day? Took it 10 a.m. today. ## Absolutely NOT. I was switched due to a heart condition, did it in the hospital I was admitted to for a week til my heart got ok. Was sent home with subutex, 3 times a day. It's been about 6 weeksand I still have to show pos. for methadone. I went throu horrible withdrawal just 2 week's ago, every time I had taken it I got sick. Doctors said it made no sense. One doc explained that the subutex kicks off the other opiates. Up to you but I would never do it again. ## What Tracy has stated is correct, The Buprenorphine in the Subtext takes a stronger hold on the opiate receptors, which is why it's used to help prevent ...
Swim was on suboxone then he stoped taking it as i was on the biodone and he started running with me, he had around 12 mg of bio 24 hrs befor taking a quart of a 2 mg sub an hr later he took another quart an hr later he went into severe sweating, spuing ,diahrea and worst of all his whole body felt like it had been electrified,it has been 14 hrs and his skin is still on fire. Can anyone rekomend anything to ease this pain ## It sounds like he may have had an allergic reaction to the drug, but in cases like this I would highly recommend getting some activated charcoal to help rid his body of the drug. According to Dr. Al Sears, MD. he wrote an article that spoke of: "Most poisons in your body are attracted to charcoal even prescription drugs. Since your body reacts to most prescriptio...
Hi. My girlfriend is a recovering addict and takes suboxone regularly (prescribed). Its hard for me to tell the difference between the side effects of suboxone and the dope. She stays up all night restless and cleans and gets moody often. She also takes Prozac and was prescribed topamax but does not take topamax. Can you tell me if this is normal? Also is it possible to feel high off of proxy or H while on suboxone? ## Unfortunately, nobody would be able to answer your first question with any certainty but your GF, simply because side effects to the same meds may vary significantly among different people. There are certain tell tale signs that should make you suspicious...but then I'm sure you wouldn't be asking this q if you weren't already. That means you are at a point wh...
I have been on suboxone now for just under a month. I think it is an amazing drug, i have had no cravings or interest in returning to opiates, my drug of choice was oxy. I get up every day feeling happy, and am able to take on what ever the day brings me. I am also on lexapro for depression at this time. There is one problem after i take my dose, which is 8 mg. twice a day, I am extremely tired sometimes to the point where if i sit down I will nod off, so I keep moving and can usually fight through it. I am wondering do other people feel this way or does it get better the longer you are on it? Two other things that are sometimes very bothersome are dizzyness and extreme dry mouth. I just wanted to find out other peoples experiences. Thanx ## Hey yea I get the same nod as you, it starts ...
