I've been taking 4mg a day of suboxin for 2 years and I didn't really taper of lime I should have.. Now it's day 12 without anything and skin is still crawling and feeling crappy.. my boyfriend has been smoking heroin for the past 6 months and just got suboxone to stop the heroin. He waited 12 hours until he was into withdrawals and took 8 mgs of suboxone he was still not feeling well so he broke down and took 1 hit of heroin 30 min later. Ok I have been given a prescription of norco 7.5. I have been on subs since Dec 2013, 8mg a day. Is it safe to take them when they pull my tooth? ## It will not help with your pain until you stop Suboxone for at least 48 hours, and even with that you might get limited relief. ## Steph77 is right it's a complete waste, you should probably just take an extra 4mg of sub that's what my doc told me to do and it worked call your doc and see what he says. ## Ok so it did work with the extra 4mg. It is unlikely that you will get an OB Gyn to prescribe it. You should just get yourself set up with one and then they will most likely refer you to someone else for the Subutex treatment. I am detoxing off of methadone and ive talked with my counselor and since i have pain issues that im going to have to address because of me detoxing off of the methadone,she(counselor) told me to check out some pain clinics were they can monitor my med use,but i would really like to be sble to find a pain clinic that would maybe give me 10-20mg of methadone in pill form just for the pain instead of going back on any kind of pain medication. I am switching from suboxone to methadone and i have chronic pain. Will this help me with the pain? I dont have any other options. What should i do for my pain? I've been on the highest dose of suboxone for about a year now and i don't feel like it's helping at all anymore. I wake up miserable everyday with horrible cravings and i wish i hadn't woken up at all. I want to switch to methadone for pain which is what my family Dr. treats me for. I think my Dr will write for it for pain management. I am a 55 year old man, and I have been going to a Pain Management facility for lower back pain and now even chronic Osteoarthritic shoulder pain, and have been taking 60mg of Methadone every day (10mg tablets x 2 x 3 times a day -- morning, noon & night) for the past three years. But just to confirm, a white round pill imprinted with 155 on one side and half moon on the other, is identified as generic "Suboxone"; containing Buprenorphine hydrochloride 8 mg (base) + Naloxone hydrochloride 2 mg (base). I have to go to my p.o. tomorrow & take a urine analysis. How can i pass a urine test for suboxone if i only took an 8th of one 2 days ago? ## There is really no guaranteed way to do so. The Buprenorphine in the Suboxone is usually detectable in urine for approximately 4 to 5 days, after last dosing. It requires a special test to detect, as it is not included in the standard tests.
