pinkheart shape pill ## The pink Suboxone tablets are 6 sided, the have an N8 on one side and a design that looks like a sword on the other, this is the 8mg tablet. There is also one that is a peach color, the only difference in the marking is that it has an N2 on it. Are there any questions or comments?

In many cases, a long acting medication, such as the time released formulations of Morphine or Oxycodone, is used along with something that works fast, like an immediate release or a regular release opiate, to give better pain control, until the one that will work for the longer period of time can start to work. However, it doesn't usually involve 3 different medications, but this can be necessary in some cases of severe, chronic pain that has not responded to other types of treatment or medications. Have they all been prescribed by the same doctor?

I found a pill in a mis-labeled bottle that is pink/peach and oblong. One one side it has 0 a separator and a 9 (or a 6 if turned upside down). On the opposite side is a capital A. I found it in a bottle with a Suboxone and another pill similar to Suboxone so it could be in the same family. Any help us appreciated. ## No, this is not a narcotic of any type. small scored white pill with 477 on it. ## This is not Methadone. The pill in description is actually Metoprolol tartrate (50 mg). I am taking oxcycontin 60 mg three times a day but since they coated them i find that they make me sick and raising heck with my blood sugar, what else can i take in its place. ## Ask your doctor if methadone is a alternative for you. My husband takes this instead of the oxy and works far better for his pain, but not all doctors are willing to prescribe this. Well I just took my last little piece of Oxycotton. I start my induction in 24 hrs and I'm so nervous. I'm also excited to though. I have a beautiful family that I have put on hold for way to long for my addiction. I think I'm just nervous about being in enough withdrawls I guess. I don't want this suboxone to make me sick. Our son is heavily addicted to suboxone. It started when he tried to function properly after he quit taking opiates. It is been going on for a long time. He buys pills illegally and lies to us where his money go. He ruined all relationship with his employers. A lot of money and biggest part of our savings went to cover his dept in order to keep him out of jail. my partner is on methadone and had a drugs test done but his not sure if there is mophine in methadone ## Absolultely not, this is a synthetic man made drug only. It is not a true opiate and would therefore not contain morphine. It does bond to the same receptors in the brain as morphine but he will not test positive for morphine on a drug test. He may want to see if they test for methadone though. I doubt it, but you never know.

i have been on methadone for 3 weeks and have just been kicked off for missing it 3 days in a row!! can this be done, is this the way chemists are told how to opperate??? ## Such practices are often done for several reasons. One would be if they were giving you the medication and a test showed that you have not taken it for those days. In this case, they have to worry that the person is selling it. Another would be if it is a limited program and you are taking up the spot that may be used by someone else in need. If you didn't need it for 3 days, they can only assume that you are not in any danger without it. And yes, they can do this, nothing obligates them to treat you or give you a medication, if you are not in emergency status. What reason did you have for missing 3 days?

the pill is round with the marking 1254 on one side and no marking on the other ## I was perscribed 20ml methadone pills that seemed to work well for me and later they started to deminish on the pain releif I was getting I thought that I had biult up a tolerance to them, I then realized the Dr. had made a mistake and gave me 10ml pills. I told this my Dr. they said they din't know what I was talking about. But I know I was started out on 20ml methadone. I looked up on the pill imagery and it showed 5. 10, and only 40ml wafer, I could not find the 20ml. but I know there is because I was prescribed it. I read the bottle and it said 20ml methadone..

Why would someone take suboxone and subutex at the same time. Are they not basically treating the same condition? ## Yes, the only difference is that the Suboxone contains Naloxone, to neutralize other narcotics that someone may try to take at the same time. However, the narcotic in both is Buprenorphine, which is used to treat drug addiction and severe cases of pain that is resistant to other medications. Have they both been prescribed to someone?

I am currently prescribed Lortab 10's and I want to try and get off of them so a friend of mine introduced me to the Suboxone SL 8, my doctor can not prescribed them, so when I go in Friday for my appt. and my doctor does a drug screen will he see that I am not taking the Lortab 10, or does the Suboxone SL 8 show up similiar to the Lortab 10 ## Unless he is doing a specific test for Suboxone, it will just show as an opiate narcotic, same as the Lortab. However, unless you had a severe problem abusing the Lortab, then Suboxone is not the right medication for you to use to stop taking it. If you have only been using it as prescribed, then you just need to taper off of the Lortab.
