The Methadone is the pink liquid. I've taken about 60-100mg daily fo 2 to 2.5 years. I now have circulation problems, numbness & swelling in hands and wrist people think it sounds like carpal tunnel. Thanks for any help and solutions. ## Have you seen a doctor for a diagnosis? Carpal Tunnel is not caused by medications, it is a repetitive motion injury to the wrist. Chronic use and/or abuse of narcotics, including Methadone, can result in health problems, including circulatory issues. It can also cause joint problems that are very similar to arthritis, which is why some of them should not be given to people with joint pain and issues. ## Or Arthritis or even nerve damage. ## Methadone is NOT meant to be injected! You are harming your veins and your body by doing this. That pink ...

i was just wondering how long my suboxone will last i take one 8mg film everyday and have only taken my first dose so far so i guess my question is how long will i feel its effects ## hI . I have been on this med for 3 years now. When I first started it, I learned everything I could about it, so you are wise to begin questioning. Suboxone can work in your system anywhere from 28-32 hours, depending on the person. If you really want to test this out for some reaason, try waiting for your next dose until you start feeling SLIGHT withdrawl (sweating, agitated, restless legs). Then simply look at the time between the doses. Suboxone works very quickly for relief-like within 20 minutes so no need to really frighten yourself, if this is something you feel you really need to test. The greatest...

I have been prescribed some form of hydrcodone for the last 7 years, my tolerance now is so high im taking 60+ per day for the last 2 years. My life is almost ruined and i want it back. I want to try suboxone but i have heard many horror stories about taking it to soon and instantly going into full on withdrawl. I heard 24 hrs is standard but a friend said since ive been on it so long and so much that i might need to wait 3 days. Im scared but ready to make a change can anyone tell me if u know how long to wait for sure? also is it true suboxone works on pain? ## Suboxone contains the active ingredients Buprenorphine and Naloxone, the Buprenorphine is a narcotic, so yes it can treat pain as well. I was on subixone treatment under a doctors care. I had to stop because im in drug court. I took 1Mg to slow down withdraws. Will it show up 2 days later on bupernorphine stick test? ## Yes, it likely will if they are looking for it and such a test usually looks for even low doses of it, since it isn't commonly used in very high ones. It's usually detectable for approximately 4 to 5 days, after last dosing. Learn more Suboxone details here. Are there any other questions or comments?

Hey all....a little history about myself. I have been on suboxone for almost 2 years 16 mg a day. My purse got stolen which had my medication in it, I immediately filed a police report but with multiple calls to the insurance company, the pharmacy, and my doc I didnt have any luck getting an early refill. It takes one week for a police report to get approved so therefore was not able to receive a copy of it to get the refills, although I gave them the police report number it was not sufficient enough. My question is I have been taking a 30mg oxy a day to help with withdraws and let me tell you they have been kicking my ass. I get my refill this Saturday if I resume my regular dose will I go into PW since I've been taking the oxy for 8 days. I have not taken any other opiates besides...

trying to detox from subone have been on 8mgs a day for 15 months need help please thank you. ## Hi confused, I hope I don,t confuse you more but heres what I did when I got down to 8mgs. By the way, it was my sub. drs. taper plan. For 2 weeks I alternated, day 1 8mgs. day2, 4mgs. day3, 8mgs.day4, back to 4mgs. This averages out to 6mgs. I kept this routine up for 2weeks then tapered to 4mgs. From the 4mgs I tapered 1mg. per week. After the last week on 1mg. I stopped completely. I was taking the strips and when I got down to 4mgs. sub dr. prescribed the 2mg strips just because it was easier to cut. Tapering this way was a walk in the park. No wds. bettween tapers. Last week on 1mg I woke up couple times thruout night but went right back to sleep. No problems after that. Been off subs s...

I've bought some cold medicine and didn't notice there is a small amount of pholcodine in it. Will I have any bad side effects if I take this with the subutex I am prescribed? ## Pholcodine as an opioid that's used to suppress cough and it also has a mild sedative like effect, so it may not be advisable to use them together. Has a cross-like symbol on the back. ## I was addicted to oxyxotin for 2 years. I did methadone, tried to stop cold turkey, nothing worked. One dat I came across these pills called Suboxone. that is exactly what you have. They are orange, octagon-shaped, N8 on one side and a cross on the other,. The cross is to help you split it in to equal halfs. The way it works is that you put the pill under your tongue (sublingually) and let it melt. it goes through the main vein you have under your tongue that connects to your brain and it blocks the opiate receptors in your brain. you start off at 1 pill a day, 2 at most if needed. but fter using the 1st whole pill, try to use just halfs until you are comfortable. By comfortable I mean not withdrawling. Thats what that pill does. It is a miracle d...
