Hey, I know it's long but please read if you want to use subs to kick opiates! Iv been taking about 40-50 norocs a day too, somedays more...I think I killed a bottle of 240 in a freaking weekend! I took orally only but i would chew them sometimes for faster results and iv taking them for a long long time...and yes it scary and horrible. Some days i was fighting sleep so hard because i was scared that i might just stop breathing and not wake up! If my Bmi is 33n I used 3 bags IV on wensday I'm also prescribed suboxone if it matters but will the heroin be out of my urine in 7days I also have Geochemistry working against the odds but if any one out there has some kind of chart or something with bmi n drug useage n how long id love to no as I have to give a ua tomorrow n it will be into my 8th day? If you're on Methadone can you still take Suboxone safely? ## NO! They are both very strong narcotics, it is not safe to take both. In addition, Suboxone also contains Naloxone, which neutralizes other opiates. Hello, I currently take a full strip of suboxone at 7:30 am every morning. Last night I really messed up and took 30 mg of oxycodone. When Can I take my normal dose again? I really hope I don't have t start over and go into withdrawals before taking my regular suboxone dose. Thank you in advanced for the help…. ## I'd wait til at least 24 hours from your screw up. i have been on methadone for 3 years and Kadian for 1 year. I was doing good and had all my carries. 4 months ago I had knee surgery and since then have been coming back positive for using hydromorphone. They say it isn't the Kadian because it is morphine sulfate. Non narcotic meds I take are: zopiclone, cymbalta. olanzapine nightly. Help. Hiya I was on up to 50 tablets of co codamol 30/500mg a day for many years, I finally this year said enought was enough and decided to get help after going to my docter I got refured to my local unity clinic were I was prescribed subutex (buprenorphine) 8mg, day 3 was the worst day of my life I was so ill I genuinely thought I was going to die I thought subutex was evil I wanted to give up my husband persuaded me not to thankfully I listened by day 5 I felt like a new person, I am now on day 11, I still feel ok but after speaking to my key worker she is going to increase the subutex I take as I am starting to feel some withdrawal symptoms, as I don't no any1 in this similar situation I wud be very greatful if any one had any advice on the level of subutex my body may be happy on? as...

I hurt my back sunday at work which and im in alot of pain . I was afraid to tell my employer of fear that he might lay me off or tell me take time off. I have no insurance i cant afford a hospital visit. So my freind gave me something called a subutex to help with pain it made me horribly sick. My wife told me when in go back to work saturday report it to my boss but im afraid the subutext will show up in my system and il lose my job if i report my injury bcuz il be subjected to a drug test. need to find doc who can prescribe methadone for chronic pain. Primary care put me on methadone and oxy for breakthrough pain. now cannot prescribe any more. I would some like some input on the effects of taking suboxone or subutex long term. ## Suboxone and Subutex are opiates, so the effects of long-term use are similar to those of any other narcotic. Some of the most common side effects include: drowsiness, nausea, dry mouth and constipation. ## I've been on suboxone for almost a year now. The side effects of long term use is the same as if you were on pain meds. ## i want to know what effects does suboxone have on a pregant woman? Does the baby become depeant? Is it like the methadone withdrawl for the baby? ## The baby does become dependant. After birth, a baby will detox from it. Your best bet is to wean yourself off before giving birth.

I ran out of my methadone for my back and took small amount of dilaudid..will it show up on an 11 panel drug test as the same?? ## How long ago? if its more than a few days it will if you have a script for it you'll probably be ok, if not good luck

I started using the strips of suboxone a few months back.. But I find they don't hold me over as long as the pills did. ( I take the strips because I have a free co pay from the company) Especially when you have to split one in half. So the do to put me up back to 2 and 1/2 instead of 1 and 1/2.. Just incase so my new doctors says anyways.. Since he put my dose up instead of it being 45 a month now it's 75 a month.. im in a real pickle. I urinated in cups with methadone in my system and left the cups out at room temperature for two days(my room stays pretty cold) and then put it into plastic bottles and froze the urine to test positive for methadone in my system. im afraid that the urine wont bc of everything ive been reading. I may have a test this Thursday the 13th and heard u defrost it and some say to microwave it and stick it in an orphis to ur body to keep it body temp. will this work?

I've been an opiate addict for the last ten years or so. I was on 160mg of methadone for 5 of those years. I managed to start weaning myself down to about 50mgs at my clinic, and didn't have any major problems. Last year I got arrested and I was admitted into a drug treatment court where I wasn't allowed to take methadone but I could take suboxone. I made the switch after a few painful days and was started on 24mgs, which I know now was probably too high. Over the last year I've managed to cut all the way down to 2mgs without any withdraws or relapses (I take 3 drugs tests a week). There are also patient assistance programs to be looked into to help cut the cost and some may actually pickup the entire cost. Another idea is to make sure you call around to different pharmacy to check on cost. Sometimes it can vary with certain medications.

Well yesterday was my last day of subs for me. I tapered myself all the way down to .5mg a day. I'm ok today but my back is starting to mess with me, but I'm fine.
