I go to a suboxone clinic for an opiate addiction for two years now. I have never had a positive drug screen for anything other than suboxone. Two weeks ago I started taking two dietary supplements for a severe case of neuropathy in my feet and lower legs. The names of the formulas are, "nerve repair optimizer" and "neuropathy support formula". These are made by the, "neuropathy treatment group". They contain, b1 & b12 vitamins, r-alpha lipoic acid vitamin d, b2, b6, benfotiamine with a proprietary blend of, feverfew herb extract, oat straw herb extract, passion flower herb extract and skullcap root extract. Other ingredients are dicalcium phosphate, hypromellose (capsule), microcrystalline cellulose & magnesium stearate. When I had my next drug screen at...

not sure what this pill is and i found it in my daughters bedroom....its a round white pill with what looks like a d on one side and 155 on the other ## I'm sorry, but I can't find a listing for anything that matches this description. Did you try asking her about it? Sometimes it's best to just be up front and ask, rather than assume the worst and worry yourself. Has she been on any medications recently, even over the counter items? ## Its a suboxone. Generic form ## Subutex 8mg ## if the d looks like a moon cresent i believe its a generic suboxone i am not completely sure. I take them because of pills and just because someone is on suboxone does not make them a heroin addict junkie i took pain pills for an injury and i always worked 2 jobs and go to college i am 22 with no ...

I also have trouble keeping my eyes open and focusing it's almost like I am high as a kite but not a good high. Please help. ## Hello, Marcus! How are you dong? I'm sorry about the problem you're having. The FDA lists Suboxone as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Hi, Just started on suboxone yesterday and had a couple questions.. Started abusing lortabs about 6 years ago after several failed surgeries... About a year ago, I switched to 30mg roxys..... in April I Did 28 days in rehab, stayed clean about a month before relapsing... About a month or two ago, I started doing the dreaded "H" because of the cost. Was doing about a point or two a day sometimes alone and sometimes I'd take a few roxys with it.. Anyway, did last of the H (a point) on Saturday (today is Wednesday) and 2 roxys on Monday.. Was able to get 5 - 8mg sub strips and took about 2.5 mgs of one strip last night around 6:00. Was soooo scared about precipitated withdrawals so I waited a full 25 hrs after last roxy before I took strip. It was definitely hell waiting it out...

I'm taking a sixth of the 2mg strip of suboxone.i want to know if i can take anything to help with the future tapering im gonna do. Been on a 6th sub for about 4 months now ## I also been on for 2 years ## Hello, Petra! How are you? What has your doctor advised? In many cases, they prefer to just taper it very slowly to prevent withdrawal symptoms, rather than have to prescribe more medications to treat them. Unlike Methadone, many people do manage to taper off of this one successfully and become completely drug free. The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I am prescribed to suboxone and my husband just got prescribed prednisone but he's allergic and the past 2 winters I have gotten sick and my asthma caused me to be hospitalized. Therefore, since my husband wasn't taking it and I have before, I took them because I was sick and my asthma was acting up. I have a drug screen tomorrow and I am wondering if it will cause a false positive. I'm worried about me doctor being upset about me taking my husband's prescription. Please someone answer asap

If there is any specific drug or drugs that you intend on taking with methadone, I can look this information up for you and let you know if they interact. It would be a nightmare trying to track down and post over 700 possibilities. ## Klonopin, geodone, ## My wife is doing weekends in jail, she is on 40mgs of methadone, seroquil and lamictal, she came back positive for pcp and marijuana or spice even though she does neither. can taking these drugs together make her come up falsely for this? ## U CAN take klonopin while taking methadone. i am a 23 year old four time cancer survivor with chronic pain. i take methadone but was dropped cold turkey from my clinic and have serious withdrawal if theres anyone in the pittsburgh area that can help please do. FED UP ## Why were you dropped so abruptly from the clinic? That's very unusual, since they know how dangerous Methadone withdrawals can be. Learn more Methadone details here. The best suggestion I can make is that if your withdrawals get really bad, go to a nearby emergency room, where they will have to help you, at least until you are stable. ## for failing to report that i was given a shot of pain med in the er ## im from NH, and they cant do that at our clinics. there are laws the prohibit it. I'm currently on methadone for my rheumatoid arthritis in both knees. I dive 140 miles each day from Wyoming (will not prescribe methadone) to a clinic in Colorado. I would so appreciate a listing of physicians in Colorado who will prescribe this life saving pain medication! Thank you soo much! ## Hello, Debbie! How are you? I'm sorry, but under current laws, a clinic is your only option. Regular doctors are not allowed to prescribe it for addiction treatment and since you've been going to a clinic, even if it was just for pain, that's what is in your medical records, so no regular doctor will be able to prescribe it for you. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mo...

Does Methadone block the effects of Methamphetamine? ## Methadone actually doesn't block anything, its just that in respect to other opiates, the receptors are flooded by the Methadone, so someone may not feel any effect from them, if they take them while on it. Learn more Methadone details here. However, since the Methadone is a downer and the other a stimulant, there is the possibility of a dangerous interaction occurring between the two, so they shouldn't be taken together, unless a doctor has specifically instructed you to do so. Are there any other questions or comments? ## My Dr. has had me on methadone 110mg./day for almost 3 years-I had facial nerve damage; then my wonderful s.o. refused to shovel out my car and I subsequently destroyed my spine-in summary I have been in...

Hi, I live in Methuen, Ma and am looking for a doctor who accepts mass health for insurance and prescribes methadone. Thank You, Sunnygrl1973 ## Hello, Sunnygrl! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. If you require Methadone for pain, then due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a pain management specialist. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, if you require it for addiction/maintenance treatment, then a clinic is your only option, since private practice doctors cannot prescribe it for that. Can anyone...

I am in Pinehurst, NC and currently seeing a back specialist. He has me on 180 Oxycodone 10/325 per month. I am addicteded to them. I wonder if I discuss it with him, could he switch me to Methadone. I am about to start going to the Methadone clinic but, the hours will conflict with my job. ## He could only prescribe them for pain, not for addiction treatment. Under U.S. law that can only be done by someone that's specially trained in treating addiction. However, I have an important question for you.... Are you addicted to the Oxycodone, or are you just dependent on it at your current dosage? There is a big difference. An addict abuses it and they keep taking more and more, because they like the way it makes them feel. This means they usually run out early and have to doctor hop or ...

I have been going to a suboxone clinic for 2 weeks. I take my suboxone religiously on a daily basis. During my most recent visit, my sub Dr told me that buprenorphrine showed up in my drug screen but that nalaxone did not show up in it. He also told me that he thought I could be putting a piece of suboxone in the urine I have been submitting for testing, which is absolutely not true. So what has caused my test results to turn out like this? Could it be due to the fact that I'm administering it in other ways than prescribed?

Can i take suboxone with methocarbol together because i normal take my flexirrel but am just making sure they can be mixed without harming my self that's all i was needing to know ## Hello, Ashley! How are you? Both of these medications can increase sedation, which has the potential to be dangerous, so they should not be mixed, unless your doctor approves. Suboxone is listed by the FDA as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Suboxone works. Use as directed. I'm. A chemical dependecy counsler. I've seen motivated people change there lives in this. No treatment is successful without faiith and perseverance. So when your tired of suffering rejoice in your future ## Hello, David! How are you? Thank you for your very helpful and inspiring post. I try to encourage people to try it, rather than Methadone, since most that use Suboxone eventually end up completely drug free, rather than requiring a lifetime maintenance dose.
