Same orange pill with imprint "2084 at top/with a fancy V" at the bottom has been identified as suboxone 8mg/2mg it is used in treatment for opiate addiction the new formulated should be availble in us pharmacies everywhere late November although a few states including Ky, Fl, Ga, and Tn carry the new fourmula, the reason in the new FDA approved suboxone pill is the fact that it has none of that dreaded orange taste people hate personally and has a higher longer ceiling affect as a ex addict and suboxone maintance DR. Myself the orange does not bother me but the patients of mine that have ran across the new formula says it seems to work in five minutes instead of 30 minutes and alao seem to last longer. Hello, I have been reading all kinds of forums regarding opiate use, withdrawl, and suboxone. I'm ready to jump in now to be able to have others to support me because, honestly, I'm a closet addict, no one knows my addiction but myself, very sad but true. Some history, I'll try to be short and simple...... I had a car accident in 2007 which wrecked my back, I'll never forget, that's the day I took my first, hydrocodone. Guys, I've been on about 1-2 mg of Suboxone a day for about 2 years. Since the dosage is so low, is it possible to quit Cold Turkey? I wanna get this over with once and for all. ## It is possible, if your doctor approves, but you may experience some mild withdrawal symptoms. As listed by the FDA, withdrawal symptoms may include nausea, dizziness, fever, chills, rebound pain and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?

I am a chronic pain management patient with ( I have been told by my doctors) no chance of ever being off pain meds. I have a serious disease I can barely pronounce. At any rate, my opioids are so difficult to managethat it is driving me crazy. Every 800 or 888 number I can find is just a 12 step person who tells me that it is a terrible choice. I've been going to a methadone clinic for 3 weeks now. They had me on a 95mg dose. I was taking opiates before. I didnt want to go to the clinic today b.c i want off this junk.. will my withdrawals be bad? Some people have told me it wont be bad since ive only been going for a short period. Private practice doctors are not allowed to prescribe it for that. Ok so this is exactly what just happened to me. Tuesday i went to my clinic to get my weekly take homes. I come in every tuesday. Well two weeks ago I got drug tested an popped positive for methamphetamine. Now my problem is as she's going over my u/a's all of them recently all the way back to May, I have failed two more for opiates, marijuana and benzos, and one for coke and methamphetamine. Methadone can work, it has worked for me. I haven't had opiates in over 10 years and have no craving at all for it, Thank God! It has worked and I no longer need or want opiates, but here I am over a decade down the line a slave to a chemist, after my partner died suddenly, with an aneurysm 4 years ago. The Dr seems to be just happy im stable. I dont have to go to a chemist daily. When I lost my partner they let me pick it up twice a week. And because im clean I do have that little bit more trust with my workers. At my last appt. I told them I want off it, my wee lassies 10 now. I want off it before she finds out. Im on 65ml which isnt a lot I know ppl on 150 ml but next script im going down 2ml lol n anno I wont feel it at all. I got down to 1n a half ml before...n my Mam had it me...

Doctor is cutting me off of methadone 10mg, 50mg/day due to regulations... what a surprise! I'm in the state of Kentucky (40977). I am an hour from Lexington and an hour from Knoxville, TN. Can someone please help me out... I'm 20 years old, also married with a 2 year old. I've been trying to get my 42 year old dad to stop his drug habit. Since I have been little he has been doing drugs...first pain pills...then 250 mg of methadone but going to the clinic & getting take homes also... Of course.....
