I have no insurance and need a coupon. ## Are you on the regular Opana or the Opana ER? I am not sure what all the qualifications are, other than being uninsured, but the manufacturer does have a program for the Opana ER and you can call them for more information at 866-824-4747. The old formulation of Opana (octagonal) was far superior than oxycodone in relieving severe chronic pain. Opana is a time released medication that is extremely potent Because of people who abused it, several people died due to overdose. The FDA mandated that Opana be reformulated to deter abuse. The new Opana is, at least for me, totally ineffective although the extremely high cost remained. As of June 2013, there is a generic available although it is still outragesly expensive. ## And once again, what is relevant to you is not necessarily applicable to everyone else. I am having a very hard time finding a pharmacy that has my Opana prescription in Columbus, Ga. ## HI, Trae! Sorry that you're having a problem getting your prescription filled. However, you won't get any help from the manufacturers, they won't be able to tell you any specific pharmacy that has it in stock. They have no way of knowing if the person on the other end of the phone is a legitimate patient with a need, or a possible thief that wants to rob the pharmacies of controlled substances. That is the same reason that you won't get an accurate answer from a pharmacy if you call them to see if they have it in stock. Which brings up the question, are you going to the pharmacy with the prescription in hand to ask, or have you been calling them?

Does the Opana IR come in 15 mg tabs? ## Hi Lynn, From what I could gather, Opana "ER" tablets are the only ones that come in 15mg dosage forms. The immediate release ones appear to be in 5mg and 10mg increments, respectively. I don't know if other brands outside of the US carry it in different dosages, but it sounds like three 5mg tablets would be your best bet for reaching the intended dosage. I'd just be sure to talk with your doctor about proper dosing protocols before moving forward with it. I hope this helps!

I've been on methadone for 13 years, for the last 4 years I've taken 30mg all at once in the morning everyday, during the day throughout the month a couple of times a month i would take 15mg of roxycodone for breakthrough pain, i would rub my voltaran gel on my neck,back,hip and legs(this gel works so much better than the Lidoderm patch) I would take soma to help my musles spams & xyanx to sleep. I am currently and have been seeing a pain man. doc for 4 years now. i have been prescribed opana 20 mg er one every 12 hours and norco 10 mg 6 a day as needed 1-2 at a time. I recently had to take a ten panel drug screen and a GMCS. i tested pos. for phencyclidine, (PCP) i think, and pos. for cocaine. do not do either....and oxymorphone was not found just hydrocodone and hydromorphone. I am confused and just in shock. My doc. is out of town and the doc. covering him would not refill my scripts. i will go a week without my meds. about 3 days i took a suboxone to see if that helped with chronic and acute pain. my friend lied. would that have messed up the results. i also have sinus problems which my family doc can verify and was taking sinus med and using afrin nasal spray, quite a bit. ...

I have both prescriptions, opana 5mg and hydrocodone 10.325 in which I have been on for awhile for hip and back pain. I dont think the hydro works to well and has a short live and thinking about switching to opana in which I have. Any suggestions please, what does opana feel like vs. hydro ## When it comes to questions such as this, there is really no way for anyone to say how you may feel, when you take a certain medication, or how well it will work for you. However, I'm not a medical doctor so that information is only based on my research. A couple laxative medications I've found information on are: Amitiza- this medication softens the stool by increasing its water content, so the stool can pass easily. What is the difference between opana ER and IR? ## Hi Amanda, Based on my research, the difference between Opana ER and Opana IR is that Opana ER takes longer to take effect than Opana IR. I take about 8-10 roxi 30s a day from a legit neck problem.PM doc also gives opana 10,20. I never took them once,afraid of er pills.i am out of roxi.will opana help just take edge off.i don't want to call doc,as I am a week early and would actually prefer to come off.please just tell me if it would help,w WD.i don't know anything about snort or beating timer,that stuff,if i cut a 20 will it work,so please don't get side-tract ## Yes. Hello I have a script for oxymorphone ER 20mg, #60. I cannot find a place that even will order them for me please help! ## Sorry to hear about your situation. I don't know why doctors even bother to write scripts for medications that people can't fill. It should be standard protocol for them to call it in to the nearest pharmacy prior to writing your prescription. Have you considered trying any online pharmacies as a last resort option? If so, I think your best bet for finding reputable online pharmacies that can fill your prescription, would be to see the list which the NABP (National Association of Boards of Pharmacy) maintains through their VIPPS certification.
