Oblong White Pill E 56 On One Side Blank The Other

Rectangle shaped white pill, E 56 on one side, blank on other side. I was told it was a sleeping pill.

A white capsule shaped pill imprinted "E 56" has been identified as Quetiapine fumarate 300 mg; which is an atypical antipsychotic approved for the treatment of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and as an add-on to treat depression. I would think that its sedative and anxiolytic effects may be helpful as a sleep aid as well.
