What is Nova-75 capsule for?

Each Nova-75 capsule contains 75mg of Pregabalin.

Pregabalin is indicated for:

-Treatment of neuropathic pain from diabetic neuropathy or post herpetic neuralgia. There is not enough data to state that it should be used in all neuropathic pain.
-Adjunctive therapy in adults with partial seizures with or without secondary generalization
-Fibromyalgia
-Generalized anxiety disorder (approved in the European Union).

I am diabetic from the last 23 years. I recently got ' trigger thumb' . It does not pain much . I have been prescribed Pregabalin 75 BD for 10 days. I wonder if this will benefit my 'trigger thumb' Can anyone throw some light on this please.

Pregbalin will not help trigger thumb. It will help neuropathic pain like post herpetic neuralgia, phantom limb pain, diabetic neuropathy etc.
