What is TCL 321, I thought Norco but not sure. It's a white long pill. ## Hello, Clair! How are you? Is the marking possibly TCL 341? Can you please double check and post back? Thanks! If so, this tablet is manufactured by Time-Cap Labs and they list it as containing 500mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and headache.

is a glass of wine at night ok if taking pain meds during the day 2 norco a day ## Hello, Jean! How are you? Generally, it's best to abstain from alcohol, when taking narcotics, due to the fact that they can both cause depression of the central nervous system, which can result in shallow breathing, nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and lower blood pressure. However, if your doctor says it is okay, then please make sure you will not be driving or doing anything dangerous. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I got my Norco script filled on 06-01-2015. 1 every 4 hrs for pain. 90 count. What date can I present a new script for the same med? ## Hello, Pappy! How are you? Does it say every 4 hour as needed for pain? If so, then this was most likely intended to be a one month supply. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Hi all, was just reading the entire forum, unfortunately some of you last wrote early last year so i hope this helps the new people. I have taken Norco 10's for over 12 years i am on a rehabilitation program for my drinking and have found problem now with me coming out negative for my opioids. At firs i was being tested for alcohol since that is my choice of drug. When i mention i was on painkillers they question why i came out negative. Urine test are the wrong test for drugs as you can clean your system easily and a urine test wont show drugs you hav had the last few days. Depending how much you have drank on liquids. So they started doing swabs tests. This is the fun part, if i take 4 of my pills i com out positive, i take one of my pills i com out positive, i take two i come out...

How will I feel going from (4) 7.5 Norco a day to 20mg Embeda? ## Hello, Babykitty! How are you? There is a one to one conversion from the Hydrocodone in the Norco to the Morphine in the Embeda, so if you're only taking on 20mg Embeda a day, you may experience some pain and withdrawal symptoms. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Have you started the Embeda, yet?

I have been on norco since spring of 2013 after a car accident. I recently started seeing a pain management dr & he gave me a script for norco but my primary had filled my script on October 31st. However instead of putting every 4-6 hours as normal he put twice a day which I didn't even notice because as I said I've been taking them for a while ...technically I'm not due for my refill til the 15th but as we have had some cold fronts the last 2 weeks (I always hurt worse) I am out as of today. I'm allergic to naproxen & aspirin & ibuprofen doesn't help much but I don't know where to go to get my refill technically 4 days early. I know walgreens won't refill except for 2 days early. I have disc degeneration in my neck & back but I also have a di...

Currently I am taking two tablets of Norco, Hydroco/apap 7.5-325 tab. If I suddenly switched to Winadeine, 500 ,g8 what would be the consequences? ## Hello, Larry! How are you? The FDA lists Winadeine as containing Codeine and Acetaminophen, so you won't get comparable pain relief. Codeine is much weaker than Hydrocodone. You'd actually need 50mgs of Codeine to equal each 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone that you were taking. You couldn't take that many of the Winadeine tablets, because you'd end up overdosing on the Acetaminophen, which could be fatal. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Why is it that some doctors still question you about pain pills when you have a metal plate in your knee and broke your leg several times and hurts so much but won't give me surgery! I have been taking these pills for almost 4 years since my accident and I just want to feel better, without people knowing I have became so dependent on them! I don't want to hurt the ones I love. I am very well educated, great job, I want to feel better again, my attitude changes due to taking to many due to pain or not having any! Please suggestions I don't want to be addicted anymore and my doctors are just pill pushers. I want my life back if I could help anyone never take these I would they are bad news for everyone may not seem bad now but I am watching my fun, forgiving loving personality...

Please tell me if this is norco 10/325 ## If it's white football shaped with pointed ends, it's 10/325. If it's small white oblong shaped, it's 7.5/325. ## Hello, Elma! How are you? I just want to chime in here to ensure that people receive the correct information. Not all generic Norco tablets match that description and not all white, oval tablets that match those descriptions are generics for Norco. As to the tablet in question, it is manufactured by Aurolife Pharma and they list it as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. If I take a Norco (hydrocodone) and a Lortab (hydrocodone) will a 5 panel drug screen be able to distingish the difference? ## The screen roll pick up hydrocodone. Be Sure to inform tester you are taking BOTH DRUGS and why you are taking them. What do you take both? Just curious ... ## I take Lortab for Chronic pain however I had a Norco from some time back and took it and now I worry that it could distingish on a drug screening and I am only prescribed the lortab. I guess it wont matter ## Since they both contain Hydrocodone, as the active narcotic, they would both show up as such on standard drug tests. Since this is a narcotic, it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, constipation and dry mouth. Learn more: Are there any other questions or comments? ## I apologize for mi...

To all ppl that has side effects of anxiety Xanax with your meds control that. Now the true brand of Watson Norcos are sold for 495 Prices went up and if your insurance don't pay for it they will give u generics or the pharmacy you go like CVS always gives generics ## Hello, Deb! How are you? Benzodiazepines, such as Xanax, can be habit forming, so they may not be an appropriate choice for everyone. And the price on Norco, which is a narcotic analgesic, may also vary from one area to the next, plus your pharmacy is required to provide a generic first if you are insured, that is not an option that is left up to you. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## I trying find good pharmacy I don't like CVS and Walgreen

I have been taking pain medication for the last seven years due to a stroke in blood clotting issues. Im 36 and I've found that even though generics are chemical the same. But each manufacture uses different inactive fillers. Some are good but there are a few are outright bad. And tthe bad ones are cheaper to make. I stated with vicodin I complained about the euphoric sensation and was switched to Percocet 10/325. I was able to ween down to only taking 5to10 a mont(started at 120/month). When I detoxed off vicodin I was a living hell. My doctor wasts to give me vicodin again. I need to know how Tylenol 3 compares with withdrawal symptoms? ## Hello, Cro cop! How are you? Among narcotics, they all risk causing the same withdrawal effects. As listed by the FDA, they may include nausea,...

I have been on norco tens for at least eight years. I have had breast surgeries and back problems ect. They did help with the pain but now its more about surviving I guess. I am usually careful not to run out but my doctor had emergency surgery and wont be back until monday so that puts me with no meds starting now and I am freaking because I am prescribed eight a day. I have twenty tylenol fours that I could take but have never taken them before so I dont know if they will even help so I guess my question is will they keep me from withdrawing or am I out of luck? I have two children and a job that I called in sick to because I was afraid of being sick. Any help you can give I really appreciate. Thanks.. ## Tylenol 4 are codeine with 300mg of acetaminophen. I was taking the oblong white ones then moved to different state an they r giving me white ones that r shaped different they r fat in the middle an if I don't eat something I get really sick an I didn't get sick on the other ones. I called the pharmacy where I was getting the oblong and they said the manufacturer was MAL.Do u no what that means? ## Hello, Patsy! How are you? There may be a different inactive ingredient in these ones that is causing the nausea, though it can be a normal side effect of this medication, as well. The FDA classifies this as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause other side effects, such as dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. The MAL means that the manufacturer of the ones you were getting before...

Can I break a m367generic Norco in half and take it ? ## Ask your doc first...I take half's when I am in less pain, & holes when I have brake through pain..less pill is better for you liver & whatnot. If I can take 3 & 1\2 & still control my pain....than I consider I'm doing my body a favor. But Still Ask Your Doc First!!! Before Changing your regiment!!!! ## @Yvonne, While I agree with Patrick that you should discuss this with your doctor before making any changes to an existing regimen, I will say that M367 is made to be cut in half for a divided dose. The score line (divid) on the back is what confirms this...and you'd actually use that as a guide to measure half a dose. Several years ago I resorted to taking half of one of these (every 4-6 hours) after a ...

I have been on Norco for years . I have used it in conjunction with Roxicodode with great sucess. Now that I have switched to the white version I am having serious problems controling my pain. I don't believe they just removed the dye. This white Norco has become a placebo falling far short of the results I once had. Now I am in scramble mode to find a replacement for the old yellow Norco. Walgreens has told me they have had several calls with other pain patients suffering from the new White Norco. Obviously Watson drug has altered the Norco to increase profits at the patients expense. How surprising. I will update fellow sufferers of the new bad White Norco with an alternative as soon as my Pain Clinic can finda replacement. I have both these genes. After four random urine test for Norco with my PM Dr. I'm told that I do not have any in my system. Even though, I took one the day of the last test just to prove to him I was taking them. As a rule I do not take them the day of because I have to drive 45 minutes to his office. Recetnly I took a genetic test and in my report it says I have both CYP2C19 Extensive or Ultra-Fast Metabolizer and that I am a Carrier of one CYP2D6 decreased or non-functioning variant. Your body may have a reduced ability to process some medicines. You are a carrier for rs1065852(T;T). IS this why my medication isn't showing up in my system? I've tried reading as much as I can about these genes. But, everything I find basically is talking about one or the other, but nothing...

What color is a non generic norco 10 mg and who is original manufacture. ( original norco)What color is original 10 mg norco ## There usually Watson & yellow.... ## @Cents, I believe Patrick (post #1) is right about Watson being the original manufacturer of the yellow oblong/oval shaped tablets. However, Actavis is now the company who took over and they altered the formula to make them white in their physical appearance. It was after this change that many patients also reported a significant difference in the tablet's overall effectiveness. I for one have not tried either, but if you take a look around the various related threads here on MedsChat, you may find several reviews that discuss this change from the original formula. It is widely thought that Actavis put less active in...
