Winadeine 500 Mg 8

Currently I am taking two tablets of Norco, Hydroco/apap 7.5-325 tab. If I suddenly switched to Winadeine, 500 ,g8 what would be the consequences?

The FDA lists Winadeine as containing Codeine and Acetaminophen, so you won't get comparable pain relief. Codeine is much weaker than Hydrocodone.

You'd actually need 50mgs of Codeine to equal each 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone that you were taking. You couldn't take that many of the Winadeine tablets, because you'd end up overdosing on the Acetaminophen, which could be fatal.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
