Hi I just moved from Washington State to Portland,Oregon. I am on SSDI for back injury,3 bulging disks and massive arthritus in neck, and 3 in thoratic back, and for Degenerative disk disease.I was going to a pain management center-referred to them by my regular doc,& they had me taking Norco-Vicodin 30 mgs a day. When I came to Portland,OR the doc that I'm seeing now said she's going to "wean me off" of pain meds, that I need to be able to function doing just everyday living things like showering, walking the dog, ect. I asked her then what? After I'm completely off them, she said well U could try PT but U said that hasn't worked in the past-which it didn't the PT I went to actually sent me home saying it was making condition worse/more pain. What I need to know

Hi there, I'm currently coming off kaiser insurance and am looking for new PM specialist. I've been taking 10/325 norcos, 1mg clonazepam, Percocet and promethazine syrup. I was in a bad accident about 3 years ago and have had consistent back and lower sciatica pain that keeps me hobbled over all day and keeps me awake at night. Doctors have been turning patients away and lowering thier doses left and right, I'm just looking for a solid refferal to a legit doctor who will listen and not make me feel like I shouldn't be asking, all kaiser doctors make it awkward when talking pain pills. I've been searching and calling but so far nothing has hit other than a doctor in Hollister but he was just let go two months ago! I NEED HELP! SOS! I just want relief and I don't know

my dr prescribed me xylon 10-200 and I have been taking norco 10-325, what's the difference between them both besides norco has tylenol and xylox has ibuprofen? ## Hello, Lori! How are you? That is the only difference, they both contain Hydrocodone as the active narcotic. Ibuprofen works better for some people than Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

i have a back injury i have been on norco for almost a year my doctor says a new ca. law says she has to bring me off norco and replace it with tramadol that soon no will be able to get norco unless you just had surgery is this true ## Yes, from what I've learned that is basically correct. General practitioners won't be able to prescribe such medications, except in emergency cases after recent injury or surgery. Learn more pain management details here. If someone suffers from a condition that causes long-term chronic pain, they have to see a pain management specialist for treatment to continue having such medications prescribed. A lot of it has to do with the abuse of the medications by many people, the fact that many doctors aren't specially trained to treat people that in ...

how long does narcos stay in your system what do u test as ## The detection time can vary from person to person, depending on how long you've been using it, how much you've been using, your activity levels, other health problems and etc. However, most narcotics are detectable on a standard urine test for 4 to 5 days. Norco contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone and since the Hydrocodone is a narcotic, it will show up as such on a test. If you have a prescription, though, all you have to do is inform them of this, when you go in for the test. Learn more: Are there any other questions or comments? ## if i'm taking norco and then take a lortab ..will it show up on a pee test ## Kim, both Norco and Lortab contain the same active ingredients, Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone and wou...

I live in Northern California and I have been taking Norco's for 15 yrs due to 2 MAJOR car accidents I have been in( passenger both times) I should have died but I'm still here but in pain EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE.. I get a RX for 240 per month and now the Pharmacy is saying they can only fill like 180 per month, that's not what the doctor wrote it for so how can the Pharmacist change MY DOCTOR'S ORDERS??? ## Hello, Cindy! How are you? There were new regulations put in place last year that restrict how many can be prescribed per month, except in cases where someone has intractable pain due to a possibly terminal illness, such as stage 4 cancer. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dro...

I get a script every month for Norco 10/325, and the pharmacy had the Watson yellows. Then around May or so the pharmacy had a different labs' Norco. They said that all the Watson yellows had to be taken off the market. The next month they had Watson again, only they were white. I don't care what color, but today i happen to ask the question into the cyber space and see all these answers, and they are the same as the pharmacy told me give o rtake a rumor. BUT, my friend just said he is getting the yellows at one pharmacy here in San Bernardino, they have had them all along and they just got some last week. I dont know what to think of this. It technically was his friend who got the pills and , well gave him one for a headache. I am suspicious btu don't know who to suspect! h...

I take norco on a daily basis for many years .....I went to a new doctor and was told. My urine came back with no norco in it?..I asked how can that happen? And demand a new test and blood test ....they feel that I've been selling them ..I have a lot of heath issues?.. So how can this happen ...I went right to the drug store to find out what and how this could happen ...they told me that something is wrong with tests?..and they feel there is something seriously wrong with my body..and this drug? Help please!! ## It typically takes 2-4 days for hydrocodone to clear your system but that time may be longer if you have been taking it long term or you have underlying kidney or liver disease. There is always the possibility that the test could have been mixed up or something wrong with th...

Please help!! I am new to this site, this is my first time posting on anything like this. I will be blunt and right to the point! Every month I get 120 Norcos, I have Blue Cross and Blue Shield insurance, I live in Michigan! Can I get two early refills back-to-back if I call my insurance company and explain the situation!? We're going out of the country on the 12th and won't be back in till next month and I will definitely be on my medicine by then! But the only problem is I just got a refill last month on the 27th! And last month I called my insurance and got it filled 12 days early because I left on vacation out of country! So now I'm just wondering if I can do this two times in a row? And just pay out-of-pocket!? Or can I go to another pharmacy and say that I don't ha...

I know that generic Norco is weak. How can I get the real ' name brand' meds? ## If you're paying cash, you can just tell the pharmacy that you want the name brand only. However, if you have insurance, your doctor will need to write the prescription as 'brand medically necessary', or whatever the equivalent is in your state. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, not all generics are problematic. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have already asked Costco and the hospital pharmacy for name brand, and they say they don't have the code to order name brand for narcotics. They say everyone ...

I resent got a prescription from my pain management Dr for Norco 19/325.Did they stop making the yellow 10s? They gave me pills that had uo3 on them. ## Hello, Debbie! How are you? When a medication is available as a generic, it's usually manufactured by several different companies. The ones you've received are manufactured by Aurolife Pharma and they list them as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I'm sorry, but I can't tell you anything about the others from just the color. Do you remember anything else about them?

I have been a chronic back pain patient for years. Degenerative disc disease, scoliosis, spurs, recurring herniated discs, sciatica. I have been getting my script filled at the Roseville, Michigan pharmacy since before the law change last October. Now sometimes I can get it filled in about a week, but usually not. After running out again last week and calling and visiting the pharmacy every day, I called today to be told to try next week ( the line I usually hear) I went there about an hour later and it was in! Found out it came in way before I called. Just as I suspected, they were LYING AGAIN. Do other people in S.E. Michigan feel they are also being lied to by their pharmacy? We chronic pain patients are taking a beating! WHY? ## Question for you the pharmacy you are using is it a na...

Is it norco cause i was told that it was ## Hello, Kendrick! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Chain Drug Marketing and they list is as containing 650mgs of Acetaminophen. This is available via prescription or over the counter, so not it does not contain a narcotic of any type. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and headache. Is there anything else I can help with?

For years I have gotten the yellow Norco 10's for chronic back pain. They helped so much and made my day to day activitys such as work so much easier, but for the past few months I have gotten the white ones with the M367 they helped very little not like the yellow Norcos. The past 2 months I have gotten the white watson 853 and these are just awful! They dont help with pain at all and have made me feel sad at times (weird I know) Honestly they should be a sleeping pill because they make me sooooo sleepy!!! I just want to find a pharmacy here in Lexington or somewhere close that I can get the yellow norcos from! They helped so much. If anyone knows of any place here or close please let me know. Thank you all in advance! ## Need a Dr. to prescribe Norco 10-325, the yellow one. Had ba...

I live in northern Michigan (not the U.P.) and have been prescribed Norco 10/325; 200 pills a month. Anyone who has taken this knows that is a lot and I am in serious pain. I was just told out of the blue I would be cut down to 90 a month. I only have about 2 weeks to find a new doctor, get my records, and be seen before I run out and am out of commission. Obviously I'm panicking so I'm turning to anyone who can suggest a doctor in my area who will help me. I'm willing to travel but that will take more time out of my 2 weeks. Thank you for your help.

PLEASE tell me if I am the only one being plagued by severe hot flashes while taking yellow Watson Norco? It is ruining my life. It's day and night; I get no sleep. And...do you have any suggestions for what to switch to because, the white Norco is like a chalk pill. No pain relief. ## Hello, Van! How are you? That can be a side effect of narcotics, in some people that take them, as listed by the FDA. It also has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. You may do better with a different one, such as Percocet, which contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen, but only your doctor can help you decide what would be safe for you to try. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

I have been taking norco 10/325 and the pills say watson 853 for some reason the last ones I got where a smaller version and looked shiny compared to my older ones that were a little bigger and more dull looking with a chalky film left in the bottle these new ones that are shiny don't have that chalky film to them and the imprint looks a little different as well. It is not something u would really notice without really looking at them or having one to compare it to. Would these be some kind of fake pill or geneic version. Just curious? ## Hello, Just out of curiosity, did you order these off the internet from one of those overseas pharmacies in India? If you had got them from a legitimate retail pharmacy here in the US I don't see why you'd even have anything to be concerned...

light yellow numbers 36 01 ## Did you mean to say V 36 01? If so the light yellow pill in description is Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone bitartrate (325 mg - 10 mg). Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone is a combination of two types of pain medicine to treat moderate to severe pain. For more information about this drug, please refer to the link below... If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to help you. ## Can this v 36 01 oblong be a very very bright yellow and also thick, rather than light yellow and thinner? ## Yes light yellow with v and 3601 I've saw the bright yellow not this one

I have a white oblong pill with Watson 853, is this the same pill as the Norco m367? ## Hello, Lisa! How are you? Yes, they are both listed as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, they are just manufactured by different companies. The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## How come the Watson 853 does not give me relief?
