This is manufactured by mallinckrodt pharmaceuticals and have 325mgs of Acetaminophen in it, as well as 10mgs of Hydrocodone, it can cause drowsiness, a high feeling, euphoria, nausea, vomiting, constipation and addiction! ## Hi....after taking narcs for years, I'd recommend getting on one that is not married with Tylenol. Because of tolerance, which is inevitable, meds such as morphine, dilaudid, roxicodone, etc., do not contain Tylenol at all. Meds such as Norco and Percocet have to be limited in dosage because of Tylenol content. It will wreak havoc on the liver, esp. If combined with alcohol. I've been on Roxicodone for quite a few years a...
I am in long beach, Ca where can i get my prescription filled norco 10-325 ive tried almost everywhere ## Hello, Walter! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having. However, we are now into the time of year when shortages of controlled substances usually occur due to mandatory manufacturing limits. Once a manufacturer reaches their allotted yearly limit, they cannot manufacture any new product, until after the new year. Each year, demand inevitably exceeds supply and shortages occur for the last few months. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. The best suggestion I can make is to ask your regular pharmacy what they do have in s...
I live in Houston, Texas am disabled and taking qualitest generic narco 10/325 mg for over 20 years. New generic is Mallinkrt and it is making me sick. Current pharmacy does not carry qualitest. Where do I look to find out who carries this generic brand of narco. I cant handle the side effects of the other generic narco ## Hello, Tam! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no listing of pharmacies according to which medication from which manufacturer they have in stock. Most pharmacies will switch which one they carry, depending on who's offering the cheapest price, at the time they need to restock their supply. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Th...
I have to take a 10 panel drug screen once a week and I have had a few issues come up that are scaring me bad. I take norco 5/325 as needed for pain, also tramadol and gabapentin. The center knows about all of these and I have been cleared by my po. However the other day they said I tested positive for oxycodone and sent it out for testing and they said it came back as morphine. First of all I never took oxycodne and second I'm allergic to morphine, so how is this possible? Then I tested again the following week and I was clear. Then I tested two days ago an they said again there was oxycodone along with methadone. I'm freaking out so bad because I swear on my life I had not touched them. But all the times I have taken my norco which for 2 weeks straight I was taking them regula...
UpdatedCan i take norco 7.5-325 with tylenol for arthritis? I have rheumatoid arthritis and am having a flare up. I am swollen and stiff and in a ton of pain. ## Hello, Annette! How are you doing? No, Norco contains Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen (Tylenol), so it could result in overdose toxicity, if you take more Tylenol with it. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Tylenol really doesn't do a lot to alleviate the swelling, anyway. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories usually help more. What has your doctor suggested you take for it?
Hi there, if you have been on this pill IP109 and Norco for a number of years & it no longer is helping... instead of increasing the dose myself like alot of us do..Should I talk to my Dr about raising me up to a 7.5 or a 10mg because the Physical Therapy & Trigger Point Injections (TPI) are not helping that much and are actually causing more pain & discomfort. Thank you. Love & Light your way!!!! ## Hello Denise! How are you? Yes, it is never safe to increase the dosage on your own, additionally, if you run out early, your doctor may be afraid that you're abusing your medication, which could cause them to refuse to continue prescribing it for you. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause si...
maker of oval shaped white Norco imprint lp 110 please? ## Hi alancat, To answer your question, Amneal Pharmaceuticals is the name of the company who produces "IP 110" generic Norco 10/325 tablets; used for moderate to severe pain. The pill is described as being a white oblong-shaped tablet with a score line going down the center on one side and IP 110 on the other. This can all be verified by looking at the manufacturer's product catalog at: prd03.apsiva.net/amneal/#/details/2023/30100924; where you'll also notice a photograph of the tablet on the top right part of the page. I hope this helps! ## Can you please tell me what the differents is between a oxycodone and a hydrocodone ## Football shape white was wondering if it was right cause seems like its not working had g...
I got the same white oval 2172 imprint for my Norco Rx. I searched for information on this but didn't find anything until I looked here. I thought the pharmacy made a mistake. It is not effective for my pain and made me very nauseated. I don't like this "new" brand at all! I wonder if the pharmacy would exchange them for the previous manufacturer. I can't tolerate the nausea and almost had to miss work due to the nausea not to mention that I was still in pain. ## wondering if they replaced for you. i got these today and was on oxycodone right after a shoulder surgery. Today he gave me the 5/325 and my pharmacy gave me the generic which was this 2172. I've taken some today and feel nothing. ## I'm in the same boat. For the last 4 years have always received Wat...
How long after taking 5 325 Percocet can you take 5 325 Norcos? I've been taking the Percocet for two weeks and would like to stop due to knee surgery. I have not taken any percocet for 6 hours when can I start the Norco 5 325 ## You can take Norco 4 hours after taking the Percocet.
Can I take norco 10/325 flexed all 10 mg with a stacker 2 ## Hi Meddie, There are quite a few different pain meds to choose from that are allegedly stronger than Norco (Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen). Oxycodone in my research seems to be the next step up the latter, but some chronic pain patients may feel that Tramadol, Morphine, Opana, or Dilaudid would be better alternatives. I for one have never taken anything other than Hydrocodone and Morphine in the realm of narcotic analgesics, so I can only go off charts on the web and my own experience, which tells me that Morphine provided greater relief than Hydrocodone after a nose surgery I had done several years ago. If you're able to I'd encourage you to talk with your doctor about this just to see what s/he recommends... And as far a...
My doctor retired. Since then I have been going to a dr in louisville run by incompetent nurse practitioners. I have carpal tunnel syndrome. 2 off the U/A came back negative, & I always took the dose of norco 2x a day. Now i'm without my med & I really need a dr who understands my predicament. A good family dr is what I need in New Albany or clarksville Indiana. Anybody have any leads?
UpdatedAfter stopping this pill cold turkey can it effect your stomach and your bowels and give you diaria and make you nauseous ## Hello, Mike! How are you? Yes, this is classified by the FDA as a narcotic, so it can cause withdrawal symptoms, if you stop it abruptly. Along with you've listed, they may also include dizziness, rebound pain and chills. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Yes you can definitely have withdraw from being on for so long and coming off cold turkey instead of lowering your dose and gradually come off them. Your body gets used to the narcotics quickly...so be very careful...your body will be addicted to the narcotics before your mind
I have breast cancer that spread to my bones. For awhile now I've been taking norco 10's. They aren't working as well as they used to...so my question is what would be the next step up for pain control? I have a dr appt in a few days and was wondering what he might put me on? ## Hello, Hootsie! How are you? I am very sorry about your medical condition and that you're in so much pain. It's hard to guess what your doctor might recommend, but there is a time released formulation of Hydrocodone that's available, without the Acetaminophen, in higher doses, so if it works well for you, that might be the way to go. It's called Zohydro. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, ...
which is worst for your liver norco or soboxone (bottom line)!!!!!! which drug goes the least damage to your liver.strieght answer PLEASE ## Hello, Mike! How are you? There is no way to pick one, both risk causing possible liver damage, impaired liver function, or full liver failure, as reported by the FDA. The best thing to do is to discuss it with your doctor, so they can help you decide which one is safest for you to try. Is there anything else I can help with?
My prescription is usually Norco 5-325 MAL. NOW THE PHARMACIST GAVE ME NORCO 5-325 QUA. WHATS THE DIFFERENCE? ## Hello, Chase! How are you? The only difference is that they have been manufactured by different companies. In these cases Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and Qualitest Pharmaceuticals, respectively. When a medication is available as a generic, it is usually manufactured by several different companies, because it creates market competition to help keep prices down for uninsured people. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I got the 2172 on Saturday and have basically been asleep...
I take norco for pain maybe one every 4-5 days or 2 at the most but can not test positive at my job. I use to take it daily, 2-3 depending on pain. I completely stopped like I was told to and replaced norco with extra strength excedrin which gives some relief but sometime I need something stronger. I have the level cut off dosage and need to know how much ng/mL per 1 pill and how long does it take to get out your system?

I just started going to pain management a month ago. My next appt is on the 26th. Today I had to take a couple of extra norcos because I can't get in to see my chiropractor and am hurting so much that my normal dose didn't get me through the night. Will it show up that I took extras in my urine test in 3 days?
UpdatedHow many Norco 10/325 mg would give you 1100 ng/mL? ## From what I could gather, clinical trials note that: "Following a 10 mg oral dose of hydrocodone administered to five adult male subjects, the mean peak concentration was 23.6 ± 5.2 ng/mL. Maximum serum levels were achieved at 1.3 ± 0.3 hours and the half-life was determined to be 3.8 ± 0.3 hours." Unless I'm reading this wrong (which I may be, as I am trying to understand this conversion as well), 1100 ng/mL seems like a very high dose for toxicity. Do you have this medication in both tablet and liquid form? You can learn more about this drug on the page for Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone I hope this helps! If anyone else can enlighten us with a bit more information that would be great! ## ...
Can you please tell me if it's a Norco 10 ## Hello, Diane! How are you? Is it an oblong/oval blue tablet? If so, it is an over the counter product sold under the name Equate Extra Strength Pain Reliever and Sleep Aid, which is listed as containing 500mgs of Acetaminophen and 25mgs of Diphenhydramine, it is a generic for Tylenol PM. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?
