I'm a 21-year-old male who previously struggled with OCD. I have been taking Nexito 10 mg for the last 4 months and I'm curious about potential side effects. I had gone heart attack 2 months back. Dr prescribed Nexito 10. But after taking this medicine, I feel vomiting and fail to have sleep at night. Shall I take this medicine?

Hi , loss of libido is a common side effect of nexito. You may want to lower the dose to 5 mg , or add Bupropion 150 SR to nexito 10. you must consult your doctor before you lower the dose or add Bupropion 150 SR. Let me know if it was helpful.

hi all i have used nexito 10 mg for almost 4 months when i used to be of 24. In my case it came up with good results without any side effects.Grew interest in food and started socialising.Showed excellent result in anger management at least.
i think ,acene and pimples are in no way associated to withdrawl of this medicine.I could easily stop taking this medicine when i realised that my condition is improving .
However one can feel drowziness while using this medicine.Can anyone come up with a good sugestion if i can take this medicine ocassionaly whenever i feel depressed for a period of time..i am going through a phase of life when i am unable to decide whether i should live or not..

Nexito contains the active ingredient Escitalopram, this is an SSRI antidepressant.
That said, yes, it can cause sexual side effects, such as erectile dysfunction and loss of libido.
Other side effects can include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth.

And I'm sorry, I almost forgot to include that part, to stop these types of medications, to negate the withdrawal and rebound effects, the normal procedure is to slowly taper them off, by slowly lowering the dosage you are taking.

be practical dont take pills.its time to examine yourself how strong you are.try to fight with yourself and i know he who tries he wins.i suffered from this so i know what is depression.best treatment i can suggest is that go out for travel for a couple of weeks with your friend.always try to give happiness to your brains by helping others or the way you feel.
wake up early with rising of sun and stay facing towards the sun.the light that comes from the sun will rejuvenate your brain cells and it gives a little positive energy to our brain.
