Please give me a list of doctors that will prescribe me xanax? I have bad anxiety.

Most generic alprazolam (Xanax) is seriously therapeutically INEQUIVALENT. WE know one major drug company, SANODZ, that makes an "almost exactly equivalent" generic alprazolam. I have pets on Xanax, but only a few very wealth women ask me to write for the BRAND name. Generally, we up the dose a little, even for the Sandoz generic. Upjohn-Pharmacia is not making millions on Xanax and the sleazy generic houses charge pharmacies a $5 or $6 a 30-d supply of an inferior generic. I always specific SANDOZ on my scripts. I think this applies nationwide. Incidentally, a doc who only takes cash id DEF on the state and DEA watch list and hew'll be going down soon. Twice in 25 years have pets paid me in cash. Both we affluent men who said, "Gee, doc, I forgot my checkbook." I was about to say, we'll square up next visit, when BOTH said, more or less, ?Is cash OK?" It is if you're an ethical prescriber.

You are the kind of doctor that forces patients to turn to the black market. You are the kind that thinks everyone is looking to feel high. Absolutely 0 compassion.

Asolutely not.

Applies to the following strength(s): 0.25 mg; 0.5 mg; 1 mg; 2 mg; 3 mg; 0.5 mg/5 mL; 1 mg/mL

ALWAYS consult your doctor or pharmacist.

There IS NOW a Xanax extended release formulation; but the max is somewhere in the 6mg to 10mg over 12 hours. There has NEVER BEEN a 50mg Xanax pill. That would be like eating 25 2mg Xanax "bars" at once. There is a 0.5mg Xanax pill

I live in NH and use to have a Dr that prescribed me xanax. But because of depression I missed too many appts and cannot be seen by her anymore. I CANNOT find a Dr who will put me back on my meds that I need. They want me to do celexa and buspar and the list goes on. None of them work.

Take nuerontin 600-800mg. occassionally. Very seldom. Took bout 2400mg. 2 days ago. Have to do high tech u/a for dr. in 4 more days. Will it be outta my system by then? Thank you.

There is No 3mg Xanax tablet and the brand named time release, Xanax-XR (I think it was XR) has been around of moe than half a decade. Since most of my client's drug insurers don't cover brand names for benzes, I don't use the XR except for my more affluent patients who want relief of anxiety and can afford the best. This is manifestly unfair. Docs and NPs and APNs and administrative RNs: Ever try to fill out a Waiver of Generic Substitution for a benzodiazepine — especially when you want the SAME DRUG - brand-name. One of my patient's insurance carriers accidentally (to so they say) witches the "brand name" and "generic equivalent you'd like prescribe" labels on THEIR form. I had it scanned, edited by an Adobe Pro (lots of my younger male patients are good as this sort of thing.) and they didn't say a word. They couldn't.

That's a huge dose of a dubiously effective drug ) for most indications. Theoretically, I can see 600mg QID (600mg x 4 doses/dt = 2.4g), but for what reason, I don't know offhand the reason for the dose. Gabapentin (Neurontin has been over-promoted and overprescribed since came on the market on the US - it has SOME uses, but most of them are :Take a logical indication for the drug, she lets them into possibly "at-some-point" approval in the US and Canada a symptoms and tell a story [to the patient].This is no way to practice medicine —seeking a reason to prescribe Neurontin is far from medical, but because the doc's federal DEA REG. has been limited or even suspended. Find a well-qualified Internist for through workup, listen to what he has to say and then a Board Certified psychiatrist to determine which might be uscg disorders. Sincerely, Doctor J

My wife has been recently tested for Thyroid function. Her TSH reading as per the ECLA test is 9.43 mIU/ml as against the prescribed range of 0.35 - 5.50, Her age is 63 years. Can anyone suggest the medicine to be given her for controlling the above elevated level of TSH.

You must have me misidentified with a Doc by the last name of FEELGOOD, Xanax is effectively in limited situations. I took it for a while (per my own shrink's script and has national rep) and it didn't make me feel high at all. It controlled my
Panic Attack Disorder quite well, but ultimately, I decided to switch to Klonopin. Works better. More quality generics available, etc. Compassion does not equal stupidity or gullibility. I don't make ANYONE turn to the "black market," but "NO" is "NO' if the rug is not indicated or I suspect drug-seeking behavior. With an MD and a PhD in Pharmacology, I think I'm qualified to make that call after 25 years in practice. Assertions of "no compassion" are among the first line that abusers or addicts e say "no" to claim as a "reason" for our denial to write scripts to order,

Or the DEA could follow NYS's example and deem it be treated like a C-II (Schedule II) Controlled Substance. When the feeds and state regs clash, the MORE RESTRICTIVE RULES Apply.

I have been diagnosed with PTSD and am also taking 12 mgs of subutex. Good ole Bup. I go to a Doctor and am honest. I take 3 2mgs of alpazolam (xanax) a day, I went to a rehab in Florida where they damn near killed me.Took me off the BUp after 2 weeks. LOL And for the benzo's I was put on a 2 week taper using a very low dose of clonopine. Well needless to say I went into PAWS. I did not eat or sleep for 2 weeks. I began to hallucinate and was medically unstable should have been hospitalized.The key was you had to stay 30 days or they would not pay your flight home. I lived in Pennsylvania. I had to threaten them and they put me on a very low dose of clonopine for 5 days. I suffered to the last day still in PAWS with no meds, I got them to release me so they would pay my flight home. OMG what all of these drugs need to be worked with a doctor one to one and very carefully taper off.As soon as the flight touched down my son met me with 10 2 mg clonopine and some percodan enough to regain my sanity The next day my doctor put me back on a lower dose of subutex and a script for xanax and we reported the rehab to my insurance company. The moral of my story is find a Doctor be honest and follow his orders to a tee. Neither of these drugs are fun to kick. KISS take it day by day and if you really need a Doctor keep going until you find a good one!!!
