Please give me a list of doctors that will prescribe me xanax? I have bad anxiety.

Looking for doctor in lower West Michigan. I have extreme anxiety and take 4 mgs a day. Sometimes just 2 mgs. It helps with sleep and being a lonely housewife, and patience. I've had tragic things happen to me in the past that I see a counselor for and he even agreed I need Xanax. But he can't prescribe. Because I have medicade, I feel like drs just ignore me. But I'm responsible in taking my meds and I'm 35. Does any one have any advice on where I could go where a dr would care? My old dr moved far away and I never got a referral because I didn't know he was moving. Please help ! I feel an acorn sized like pit in my upper belly under my breast bone without the medication. And I sleep or eat well although I try my best.

Im a combat vet with ptsd and a host of other mental issues. Recently the V.A. started to discontinue benzo prescriptions. I need a doctor that takes cash in Knoxville, Tn who will prescribe benzos. Specifically valium. Can anyone refer me?

Some people can't even leave their house without it. I'm agoraphobic and have had panic attacks since I was a kid. So used properly is a god sent. However I totally agree with this dude. Opiates ruined my life. Now I've reclaimed my life with suboxone. I kicked xanax in jail cold turkey. Time slows down, pure agony. Hell on earth...

This by the way, barbie, is not only a Veteran's affairs. Tightening of the belt on this class of meds. Do the research and you will see these dispensing rules are coming directly from our fine bureaucracy at the D.E.A. I've never abused this medication personally. I have HAD friends that would just so they could "black out" the horrible reality they were tormented by every single day and night. Understand this barbie. This wasn't im afraid of the dark fear or ive got a big test fear. This was is my or my buddies head going to be removed from our bodies kind of fear you know, war s***. Im not belittling anyones need for these medications. I am however questioning why they are choosing combat vets as there first choice for testing this new policy.

I am new to Little Rock Arkansas andneed to find a doctor to prescibe me xanax prn....i take clonopin but sometimes it is not fast acting enough when i have a bad panic attack....if anyone could help i would appreciate it.

Please help me find a brave enough dr. To perscribe me real medicine that works, what a shame this is. Gerry from suffolk ny 52 yrs. Old i am {edited for privacy} thank you. i have had it prescribed to me in the past. I just got out of brunswick hospital. i was there for 7 weeks. i am at wits end praying to god for help or angel. what a shame for people who really need help and they cant get it. i wish other things would work as claimed. So much smoke blown up. They are the real snake oil salesmen gready careless fools. Thank you. I am still holding out for future help. No nice way to live.

I live in California and truthfully, not a single doctor will prescribe it. Now, IF you can even actually get ANY doctor to prescribe a benzo, it's Ativan. Never Xanax, Valium, and now they are treating Klonopin like it's that other impossible med to obtain-Vicodin. It really disgusts me. I have GAD and PTSD and live with anxiety 24/7. I don't know what state or country you live in but from what I've read, it seems that they are a lot more lenient about giving out anxiolytics in countries other than the US. If I were you and really needing something urgent for anxiety, Ativan you could get easily but it is just like a sleeping pill. I wish I could give you more optimistic advice. SO MANY PEOPLE want Xanax. Why? Because it works. The drug companies could make several millions more a year if they would start prescribing it like they used to.

Unless she/he was another physician and a friend, red flag would pop up if a patient came in and aid something like. "I need Xanax". Since it's the shortest acting bronze, it's the most addicting. (That's the rule with sedatives and tranquilizers, except for the antipsychotics.) I'm then doctor who graduated from Yale Med and went on to Cornell to earn a PhD in Psychopharmacology. I have no problem with patients saying, "Well, I took generic Valium 5mg TID, but it didn't work well. So, I went back to my Internist and he prescribed Xanax [which probably was "brand only" at the time; generic Valium always has been notoriously therapeutically INEQUIVALENT.] I missed my appointment with my colleague and shrink this week, so I'm going to e-mail him ad state: "I need scripts for Ambien 10mg #90 - 3 qHS - Refill 5x"— but I've ben his patient for six or seven years. We're friends and my "original shrink," My mentor. Dr. F., asked him to take me as a private patient because he wanted me to see best student he ever taught. I also have some
'seventh sense" that's almost always right. I know what I have in terms of an illness and what would work best. My sister, a successful attorney, tried that same S--T with Dr. Glenn and held her to find another doctor; his patients DID NOT TELL HIM WHAT TO WRITE FOR.

I have been stabilized on x anax 2mg 3xans daily as well as Zoloft and Prasozin for flashbacks at bedtime for severe PTSD and panic attacks and anxiety disorder. My Dr moved to Utah and the other Dr's in the practice phychiatrists office are not willing and/or are biased of benzodiazepines. I was having 30 or more panic attacks daily from being attacked beaten unrecognizable, raped and left for dead. I now also have 70% hearing loss from the antibiotics they had me on in ICU and afterwards. Does anyone know where I can get into a practice either in the Cincinnati or Dayton Ohio area ASAP. I will be completely out of my X anax next Saturday. Thank you

When a physician dies, his/her patients have the option of picking up copies of their medical records. A third-party service usually handles this and there's almost always a fee but I've heard of more than $45. It's traditional, reasonable ad customary fr psychiatrists to specifically note the meds the prescribe. Given that some time has elapsed call the state medical society.

PuppyFace, to be honest with you the Drug companies make billions a year, however not on Xanax. I'm in California and have never had a problem obtaining the medication. Did you ever think it could be you and the way you present yourself?
