Started Sulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim 800/160 twice a day for a staph infection two weeks ago. Stomach pain and nausea started in second week. Apparently these are rare side effects. I stopped it for 24hrs. and symptoms subsided. But I did not want to risk compromising the treatment so I started again. Symptoms returned about ten hrs later. I am 70 years old with no heart problems. Taking cap of 1 Ecosprin AV 75 at bedtime. I had been asked to stop before prostate biopsy. The biopsy has got delayed. I am suffering from severe epigastric pain and flatulence and was diagnosed as IBS. since last 30 years. All the tests like colonoscopy, endoscopy, blood test, fat absorption test, ultra sound have shown negative. Recently endoscopy showed oesophagytis B. I was given nexpro 40 mg and lesuide. I go to a methadone clinic. I work in a car delivering papers. I get car sick. The only thing I take is dremamine. The scientific word is in the title. I tested positive for benzos. I cannot figure out why. I don't take Xanax Valium or klodopins. So I need to know if this substance can do this because I can't figure it out. I took a pill from my Zofran bottle. It was generic. I've not taken this before. I looked at it before I took it. Then I looked at the others in the bottle and realized the one I took didn't look the same. Of course it's gone now so I don't know numbers but it had the markings on one side to split 4 ways. I don't see this one in the pictures. Could I have taken something different? I'm concerned that I don't know what I took. ## Without seeing the pill and knowing the markings, I can't be certain. I had my first iron infusion on Monday (it is now Sunday) as I am severely iron deficient. I was not informed that there would be any side effects by my doctor or hematologist. Since Monday I have been bedridden with the worst migraines, chronic nausea, shoulder and neck muscle spasms, loss of appetitive, heightened sense of smell which in turn makes me vomit a lot, no energy, swollen glands, the feeling that something is crawling under my skin, itchiness, irritability, needing to urinate excessively, clammy mouth and sore joints.
