Myprodol contains the active ingredients Ibuprofen, Codeine and Paracetamol, so yes, it may cause increased stomach acid, mainly due to the Ibuprofen, since it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory.

Have you discussed it with your doctor? You may be able to use something to help reduce the acid and protect your stomach.
