I maybe called in for a random pill count for the 30 mg morphine ir...is there a look a like pill that could pass off as this med..I deviated on the rx by 15 tablets this month, unaware that I coulkd get a random count. ## All prescription medications have unique imprints on them to enable them to be identified in case of emergency, the imprints are unique to each manufacturer, medication and dosage. I am prescribed Morphine Sulfate 30mg ER. My pharmacy gave me Morphine Sulfate 30mg SR. I only know because the medication is a different color and I had to research it when my pain became unbearable. I thought they gave me the wrong medication. Is there a difference between SR and ER? Or could the pain be due to the medication being from a different manufacturer than I usually receive? ## SR and ER are both just abbreviations that mean the same thing, they denote it as being a time released formulation of Morphine. Does it list the name of the manufacturer on them? Or can you post back with the markings?

I have been taking 200 mg of morphine sulphate daily for 2 years. I just took a urinalysis and scored 191103 nano grams. This seems extremely high. It red flagged me at work and I haven't changed my intake or prescription. I didn't urinate in the morning until I went to take the test and since I didn't have anything to fear I didn't worry about it. I filled up the specimen container. Why is the level so high when they say my last test registered 19000. Now this one registered almost 200,000. Now on the chopping block at work. Help please. I need to know why this occurred and if it's normal.

The brand name is Actiq and they actually contain Fentanyl, which is over 80 times stronger than Morphine. Learn more Fentanyl details here. I have spinal stenosis, scoleosis, ddd of back as well as fm. A pain mgt dr. increased my tolerance to an extremely high one from prescribimg fenytanall patches and lolipops. Now that my OCs and other stuff isnt working im looking for a dr not afraid to prescribe fentynall in NJ tristate area ## If you're under long-term treatment for chronic pain, you're going to have to stick with seeing a pain management specialist. P on one side and a 2 on the other side a orange/peach color ## What this tablet actually contains is 2mgs of Hydromorphone, which is a narcotic opiate, but not the same as Morphine, though it is related. what do morphine 60mg look like i have a pinkish color pill a line split it in half on one side the other i cant make out to well think it saysg4 on top snd 142on bottom note alot of the coloring of the pill is worn offf ## Is it possible that the marking is 54 142? Im angry my pain mgnt dr thinks im not taking my meds morphine 60mg twice daily and percocet10/325 neurontin 800mg and xanaflex 4mg im 5'8" wiegh 220 diabetic and smoke hypothyroidism and eat ice all day and drink lots of coffee and water what am i doing wrong why are my urine tests low ## Well, the ones of those that they can test for would be the Morphine and the Oxycodone in the Percocet. They can't test for Neurontin and Zanaflex on those types of tests. However, the reason your levels are so low is most likely due to all the ice, coffee and water that you are taking in every day. it has a 10 on one side and an m on the other it is peachy orange ## Is the M in a square and the tablet shaped like a triangle? Hello anyone. I was on Morphine for maybe 5 months after two years of a chronic pain condition. The analgesic effects were very short lived and the negative effects high. I was very physically (not so much psychologically) dependant and came off as soon as I could. I think my dose was 15/20 ml every 4 hours of liquid (Oramorph) but to be honest, I really don't remember. I have been off completely for a month and a half. I am 40. I went on the drug fully informed and mentally prepared but was severely shocked by the travail of coming off. I have no desire to return to it and would rather take the pain than loss of self. I have been on 300mg of morphine sulfate(immediate and extended release) for 3 years. I am a female, approximately 130 lbs and 5'4". I have a prescription for 30mg morphine 3 times a day. So, in a 48 hour period I took 6 of them. My doctor told me that if I didn't have the correct level in my system that it would be a problem. My UA test showed 16896 ng/mL. Is that a normal level for what I had taken, or is she going to have a 'problem' with me? There are many factors that go in to determining what your level should be other than just the dosage and dosing frequency. what does the generic Canadian pill look like I have a very weird looking pills in a bottle that says its statex morphine yet I cannot fine the marking online Its like a testtube in a U ## The name brand uses the PMS logo on them. can morphine and scopolamine be mixed? ## IT is generally not recommended, because it does severely increase the risk of developing severe constipation, which could result in paralytic ileus, which can be life threatening. Has your doctor instructed you to use them both? ## Can morphine and scopolamine be mixed? What are their specific uses in the management of the cancer patient? I have several questions. In general is morphine stroger than oxy ??? If oxy is stronger than morphine does anyone have suggestions on how to approach Dr ( this will b second visit. Dr seems sympathetic, is conservative) ??? Dr tells me MS Contin ER is supposed to last 12 hrs per tab, he started me 3x a day. I am originally from Ohio. For the last three years my husband has had to work in Florida. I really wanted to go with him this time because I was only able to see him for a week every six months.
