I presently take 1 30mg morphine 3X day and 1 15mg mor.ER 2X day. It is not enough. I could take 50mg 4Xday and it might work. The one most commonly used to replace Morphine, since it is more powerful and requires a much lower dosage is Opana, which contains the active ingredient Oxymorphone. You would have to consult your doctor, though, on what is safe to use with the Oxycodone. Have you consulted your doctor? i have been taking 60mg.morphine sulfate with little relief i just started on methadone hcl 10mg. & found them to be stronger & more effective my wife just believes that it is the change but i am convinced the methadone is stronger who is right? ## It would take 15mgs of Methadone to equal each 60mgs dose of the Morphine, so I'd have to give the win to your wife. However, there is a caveat, it may not be just because of the change to a different medication, it could be due to the fact that the Methadone may just work better for you. I usually take 1-3 10/500 hydrocodone pills a day. I recently Ran out and have 60 mg morphine. I have never taken morphine pills.. had it iv in hospital a few times. Should I take it to ease the pain or what should I expect. However, that's not entirely accurate in this case, since the Acetaminophen augments the action of the Oxycodone. I was given 10 pills by a friend who stated to me these were morphine. Yet I couldn't find any info at all in other sites. It has only a capital D and the other side is smooth. Its really small size similar to the xanax size. Anyone know? Its like a peach/yellow.color. ## I have some pills that are exactly what you are describing and they are estrogen pills for my dog.
