Updated in ImitrexI am an neuro patient and also got knee contraction or this knee contraction recently prescribed for BOTOX injection. Due to some infection I advised from doctor for monocef injection my age is 58 years . ## Monocef is an antibiotic and it's common side effects may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. At your age, they shouldn't be pronounced or worsened. Is there anything else I can help with?
I have been taking Fioricet for 20 years. Worked extremely well to keep my migraines under control. The generic does not work well at all and I have many more migraines. Where can I purchase the original Fioricet. The quality of my life is not the same and I cannot take most other migraine medications. ## Hello, Janie! How are you? I'm very sorry, but at this time, it is no longer available and I don't have any information on whether or not it will be back on the market in the future. The best suggestion I can make is that you speak to your doctor about trying a different medication. Is there anything else I can help with?
I live in the UK but cannot find a description of this pill on any site. Does anyone know what it could be please? ## Hello, Wendy! How are you? Yes, this one did take some searching to track down, but I finally found it listed as a 100mg Imigran tablet, which contains the active ingredient Sumatriptan. It is most commonly used to treat migraines. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness pressure sensations and fatigue. Is there anything else I can help with?

It is shaped like a capsule its dark green with a L and then a 1 directly under it on the other end so the letter is on one end and the number on the other end with a white thin stripe around middle I am hoping that its a antibiotic but need to know ## Hello, Marlene! Question: A friend took a generic form of Fioricet for a migraine a few days ago. Then had a massage a few days after that to try to relieve her tension that was causing the headache. Now she has bruises all over her body. Is this a possible side effect of the medication? If so, how serious is it & what does she do? ## Hello, Curious! How are you? If it was several days later, then it likely isn't related to the medication. However, she needs to consult her doctor to be sure, that's the only way she's really going to get a definitive answer. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I get bruises too.
Watson Fiorinal with codeine works better for me that the product subsuted by the pharmasist :Ascomp with codeine. Please tell me why.Iam sure they are not equal. ## There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredients from one generic to another and when going from the name brand to a generic. Thus, you may have been given one that's slightly lower in the dosage, so it doesn't work as well for you. You can learn more Fiorinal details here and you can learn more Codeine details here. If your insurance requires them to give you the generic, if it's available, then you may want to ask your doctor to write your prescription as brand medically necessary, so they'll pay for it in the future. Alternatively, in many cases your body will adjust in a week or tw...
Hi. I've currently stopped taking Depakote and I was wondering how long does it take for the side effects to go away mainly the eye floaters. ## Hello, ChickenMan! How are you? Are you sure they were due to the Depakote? Has this been confirmed by your doctor? It's not a side effect that's commonly reported by people taking it and, if it did cause them, it could be difficult to know how long it will take for them to clear up. How long have you been off of it? What are you taking instead?
I take generic sedapap with butalbital 50mg and 650mg acetaminophen. Last time I received my insurance company's mail away pharmacy filled script, it was filled with 325mg of acetaminophen. My charge card on file was charged 4 times what I previously paid at the previous acetaminophen dosage, I called them & the pharmacist told me it is no longer made at 650mg (ok, I get it: acetaminophen & liver damage potential), and dose change & patent increased cost (but my bottle was labeled generic & rx identifier verified it was generic). 325mg is non-formulary (they probably didn't anticipate change to 325mg when developed annual formulary). Pharm called MD for order change (but didn't get order for refills & he canceled the 650mg order - including the refills). ...
I have been diagnosed with epilepsy/complex partial seizures since 1981. I've been taking Depakote (1000 mg) for at least 15 years. It has caused weight gain always, my neuro added Zonegran to my cocktail to counteract this but now I'm starting to experience tremors and cognitive thinking is slowing down. My neuro told me today that most likely this is due to Depakote. I am hesitant to come off it because it covers my seizures so well and offers a mood stabilizer for my PTSD. Has anyone experienced these side effects - my neuro expects they will get worse as I get older - and I'm curious what others have moved to as an alternative. I've tried so many meds, it's always the side effects that kill me. ## Unfortunately, these issues have been known to occur with all of t...
Is there any Patient Assistance Programs for this medication in the USA? ## Hello, HisAngel! How are you? Unfortunately no, I cannot find a program for this medication. Have you consulted your doctor to see if there are any alternatives you can try that may be cheaper? ## I am sorry I have not been back to this thread. Thank you for the reply. I have managed to get some financial medical assistance and able now to get my medication. Again thank you so much for trying to help. Much appreciated!
i am trying to find the brand name fioricet, pleases help! as the generics do not work. ## Hello, Tess! How are you? Sorry about the problem that you're having. What dosage are you looking for? Some of them have been discontinued and are no longer available. Otherwise, if it's one that can still be found, did you try asking your pharmacy to order it in for you? ## I have the same experience with generic Fioricet - it does NOT work! We can't be the ONLY ones to notice that the Emperor is wearing no clothes. I wish this issue could be properly addressed. But it appears that few are affected? and sales flourish, so there's not much hope. My pharmacy refuses to carry brand name Fioricet so I must purchase it out of town. Wishing you good luck!
fiorinal tablets made by westward are no longer because westward is under fda investigation. some manufacturing plant problem. thats all i have found out. maybe we should bombard westward and fda for the absoulute need for a medicine that helps us to function and be contributing citizens of society. we also should have been given a head's up, this was cruel.
Updated in FiorinalSpoke with Watson. Say that tabs are discontinued! I like the tabs as I can cut in half etc. ## Hi blondy, I haven't come across any specific details or announcements stating that the Fiorinal tabs have actually been discontinued. Actavis is the new "Watson" now since they recently bought them out. However, they come off to me as a pretty shady company, so it could be that they're slowly replacing some of the original Watson products without making any big announcements about it. That's just one theory anyway. Does anyone else have information on the availability of these tablets?
My pharmacy cannot get this any more for me. Who manufactures this and who distributes it. I would like to contact them. MIDRIN ## The following medications contain the same active ingredients, and might be able to help you in a similar fashion: Amidrine Duradrin Midchlor Migquin Migratine Migrazone Migrex Mitride Hope this helps! ## Hello. You might also want to try Carnrick Laboratories Inc located in Cedar Knolls NJ phone number 201-267-2670. Hope this helps and have a nice day! ## For the Midrin that previous message was. TY ## That number doesn't work. ## CVS says they cannot get it. Walgreens says they must special order it. Finally something that works on my migraines without knocking me out. Anyone know what happened? ## I live in Seattle & as prescribed this for the 1st...
Cannot locate any pharmacy who has the brand name Fioricet. This past month, I have been using a generic brand manufactured by Qualitest. This medication has been awful; so bad that I believe it has caused my headaches to become more intense/frequent. I have located one pharmacy several miles from my home that does have the generic brand Fioricet manufactured by Watson. What is going on with the brand name of Fioricet? Has there been a recall or...? I take this medication on a daily basis (I have MS and suffer from severe/migraine headaches.) I understand that Watson Pharmaceuticals is now Actavis; however, why would they discontinue manufacturing the brand name of a medication? ## Hello, Rae! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having. According to the inf...
