I used flagyl almost 4 months ago for 7 days. I still have a terrible, sometimes salty, sometimes metallic taste in my mouth. Is this long term side effect at all normal? ## According the drug's side effect profile, a sharp, unpleasant metallic taste is not unusual. I've also heard that Peppermint candy seems to help, since it increases saliva production and masks the metallic taste. It probably won't make it go away, but should certainly make it more tolerable. Hi I've been having a white creamy smelly vaginal discharge and odor for months now. I found 3 Pliva 334's do you think these are strong enough to take care of this issue or do I need more. Found an oval white pill in my sons room. One side had a "k" and the other side has an "11"... I think somebody put another pill in my prescription bottle when I wasn't home that looks like my meds. I am 5 days late on period. Took a pregnancy test yesterday came up negative. I was on metro pill 500mg twice day for a week. Was suppose to get my period about 4/5 aftwr taking last of medicine. My period is due on the 28th. I had sex 3 days before that which was on the 25th... On the 26th I began my course of metronidazole - It was 2 per day for a week and I'm still taking them... I was due to have my period on the 18th of this month and it's been 10 days and still no period, took a pregnancy test and it came back negative, i was prescribed metronidazole 500mg twice daily on 5/22/17. I'm confused and not sure what's going on ## It the test was negative, then it is doubtful that you are pregnant, but it never hurts to have your doctor do a professional lab test to be sure. It can be normal to just have irregular cycles, sometimes. Unfortunately, it is just part of being a woman. How old are you? Are you on any other medications? The FDA does list many of them as possibly causing issues with menstruation, such as longer cycles.

I am about to go for a pre-employment drug screen and I currently take Metronidazole 500 MG. I currently have a job, a decent job. Just trying to get a second, as I am an expectant mother and need all the money I can get. Can Metronidazole 500MG have a false positive for anything?
