Grapefruit is a common interaction with many medications, so it was definitely wise of you to double check that first. NOTE: the bioavailability of metoprolol may be enhanced by food (in general), so your doctor may instruct you to take metoprolol at the same time each day, preferably with or immediately following meals. I take 1 Metoprolol every day. I have for two years. I need to take a laxative and wanted to make sure that was ok. The active ingredient in the laxative is Sennoside. ## There any problems or interactions that I can find listed between the two, but you should make sure to take them a few hours apart. Otherwise, if you take them too close together, you do run the risk of not having the Metoprolol in your stomach and digestive tract long enough for it to be absorbed and used by your body. I need to know what fillers are in metoprolol tartrate 25 mg. I started taking Metoprolol Tart 25mg prescribed by the ER..Ever since i started taking it my vision has gotten really bad..I have blurry spots and for me to be able to read i have to get really close..Will this stop? ## How long have you been taking it? After switching from Metoprolol 25 mg by Mylan to Metoprol Tar 25 mg by Caraco palpitations & tachycardia have returned to an extent, after only a week. Can there by that much difference? ## There can be fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient from one generic manufacturer to another, so there is a chance that there is enough difference in the dosage to cause you to experience such symptoms. Learn more Metoprolol details here. The issue, of course, is that these symptoms have the potential to be dangerous. Have you talked to your doctor? They may need to adjust your dosage. Are they both the regular release formulation of the medication? No ER, SR, XR or anything like that listed on the prescription bottles? ## There is nothing else on the bottle, like ER, etc.

I take Metoprol Tar Tab 25mg 2x daily. is Metoprol er 25mg okay for me to take until my doctor refills mine? ## The ER stands for extended release, which means that the medication is slowly released, rather than being released all at once, so it may not work as well for you as the one you were taking. They are the same medication, but as I said, the time released may not give the same control, since it's released more slowly and there is a chance that it could cause you some problems. This is used for several diseases of the cardovascular system, including high blood pressure. Some of the most common side effects are dizziness, drowsiness and trouble sleeping. ## Elongated white pill indented on both sides.pill aprox. 15/16 inch long,on leftside with triangle , and letter M on right side as you face the pill laying flat on table, 25mg.Pill name METOPROLOL SUCC ER 25mg TAB NDC: 62037-0830-01 ## My prescription pills look as you described with M on on side and triangle on the other. However, the label does NOT say metroprolol succinate, only metroprolol er 25 mg. Is there a difference???
