Take An Laxative While On Metropolol

I take 1 Metoprolol every day. I have for two years. I need to take a laxative and wanted to make sure that was ok. The active ingredient in the laxative is Sennoside.

There any problems or interactions that I can find listed between the two, but you should make sure to take them a few hours apart.

Otherwise, if you take them too close together, you do run the risk of not having the Metoprolol in your stomach and digestive tract long enough for it to be absorbed and used by your body.
