Metoprol Tar Tab 25mg

I take Metoprol Tar Tab 25mg 2x daily. is Metoprol er 25mg okay for me to take until my doctor refills mine?

The ER stands for extended release, which means that the medication is slowly released, rather than being released all at once, so it may not work as well for you as the one you were taking.

Have you tried checking with your pharmacist or doctor?

They are the same medication, but as I said, the time released may not give the same control, since it's released more slowly and there is a chance that it could cause you some problems.
