Is there a metoprol 50mg with the number 631? ## Hi ambi, Based on my research, I don't believe there is a Metoprolol with that exact marking. Perhaps it could be a number within another set of numbers or imprint, but I'm not finding anything that matches 631 in and of itself. The closest Metoprolol I located is a white round pill with a triangle logo sitting above the numbers "831". This happens to be a 50mg Metoprolol succinate extended release tablet. Manufacturer: Watson Pharmaceuticals National Drug Code (NDC): 62037-0831 I hope this helps to answer your question!

Metolar XR contains the active ingredient Metoprolol in a time released formulation, it is a beta blocker that is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. And those can be normal side effects that it causes in some people, but they should start to taper off after about 4 to 6 weeks as your body gets used to the medication. Does cutting metoprolol er 100 in half at the score have any effect on the extended release? ## To my understanding, cutting an extended release pill in half does have an effect on its time-release properties. I honestly don't know if this only pertains to "capsules" rather than "tablets", since they are different forms in and of themselves. Often times the score line does indicate that the pill can be divided in half, but unless your doctor gives you the ok, I would suggest playing it safe in either case. You may even want to talk to your doctor about lowering your dosage to 50mg Metoprolol succinate extended-release tablets. This way you can always take another dose without worrying about messing up the time-release properties. I hope this helps! Does anyone else k...

Interesting comments regarding side effects. I've experienced similar. I've been on Meto 50 mg TR for 6 weeks. May be a day or two during those 6 weeks not taking the med. But I experienced the nausea, loss of appetite, etc. I'm just wondering how long it will take for the drug to completely leave my system. I'm doing a test and my doctor wants to make sure that the drug is completely out of my system. I also noticed that my liver ALT test is elevated. The elevation started right after I was put on Meto for high blood pressure but more for heart palpitations. It really didn't help the palpitations. And sometimes my BP went up, a lot.

she has alzheimers and has chewed her metroprol 25mg pill. just want to make sure she will be okay ## Hi, Evelyn! Yes, as long as it's not a time released formulation, which would be denoted by something on the label such as SR, XR, ER or something similar, there's no real harm in it. The worst thing about it is that it will really taste terrible. :-) Learn more Metoprolol details here. You may want to double check anything she takes and see if they are time released or not, as that could be a danger if she chews them up, since she may get too much of the medication at once. Metoprolol Tartrate low dose, but very TIGHT face, neck, head muscles, often coupled with NUMB face and jaw, for hours at a time, sometimes all day and night --- side effects due to the metoprolol? I'm also suffering from tight chest muscles, but often for just a half hour to an hour at a time and feeling that it's hard to breathe / shallow breath (but not sure if the muscle tightness is the cause of the breathing difficulty). Again, might these be side effects? NOTE: It's entirely possible that, instead, I'm simply suffering more and more from weird undiagnosable nerve problems, but I'm worried of course that it could be the medicine, not the condition. BTW, the med is very good at lowering my Blood Pressure. ## i was wndering if metoprolol could be the cause of my ...
