I had under gone Angioplasty in 2010 January. One Medicate Stent & One Balloon was inserted. Then on I am under regular medication of (1) Deplatt A 75, Seloken XL 25, Atorva 10 every day. I am 64 now. I find no discomfort and maintaining my daily work from morning till late evening. I suffered so many side effects since starting this med. The first thing was hair loss, I haven't cut my hair in 2 years and it's gotten thin and stringy. Next I started to notice my feet and hands were cold and purple. I looked that up to see what was wrong and after much searching online found this was another side effect. Then I looked up extreme fatigue, another side effect. And weight gain. It says only 4 lbs, but my endocrinologist put on a RX diet pill that was supposed to help me lose weight and I haven't lost one lb! I don't eat anything! I have salad, tuna and raw vegetables at work and a piece of meat and watermelon when I get home. I never eat the junk food that my coworkers bring in. I have been taking Metoprolol Succ ER 50 MG from Tasan for 2 years, and now CVS changed my prescription to Taeth. Is it true as CVS stated that Tasan has been discontinued? Has anyone changed from Tasan to Taeth? ## TASAN simply stands for a Tablet manufactured by Sandoz pharmaceuitcals, TAETH means this tablet is manufactured by Ethex pharmaceuticals. I do take metoprolol for my heart, but it still fluters once in a while. What causes it to do this?
