I need to find a strong opiod medication with "only" an opiod in it. No additives, carriers, mediums, etc.,etc. I do not anticipate living much longer due to cirrohsis of the liver. I have extreme chronic back pain, scaitia, and would like to live my remaining yrs without such pain. (Dr's state cannot help, except with pain meds) Any additives to an opiod med. does further damage to my liver. Currently I am on approx 40 mgs of methadone, & it helps enough to make pain bareable. I've had a pharm. heroin in another country and it was the best pain med. I have ever found, and I've had many due to 30 yrs of back infirmities. Looking for a doctor in Montgomery Co. Md or close to perscribe Methadone, I have been on a methadone for 15 yrs, I go to a clinic, the problem is I,m a building contractor, 53 yrs old and have had surgery on my back and knee, and I hurt most of the time, the clinic will only give 5mgs more and its just not enough, I,m at 110mgs but I,ve been on it for so long, I have saved meathadone on my good days and on my bad days I,ll take 200 mgs to 240 mgs and really makes me feel so much better, I work hard, I sweat alot, I think the meathadone just goes through my system very fast.Can you please help help me. I am looking for the spelling of a medication that sounds like Butrol, not sure of the spelling, that is used for people to get off of narcotics, maybe something similar to methadone?? ## I can't find anything under the name, but perhaps it was one that is commonly referred to as Methadol? I have been on these drugs for over 10 years now and my husband lost his job and insurance and last month I was able to get my medications and am trying to wean myself off of them not so easy as I thought Im now out of soma norco clonazapam and elavil but still have probably 60 methadone left. I cant get to the doctor this month to get refills,so Im scared. My doctor wont see me without any insurance or money,and thats not all he is making me take a what he calls a mandatory drug test to see if the medication is in my system and I have to pay 20 dollars for it. I took 40mg of methadone a day for four days.....think i will p clean 9 days after my last methadone use? ## Methadone is usually detectable in your urine for up to 5 days after use, however this can vary, depending on your individual metabolism, overall health, activity levels and other factors. If you have a prescription for it, then you should just inform them of this, when you go in for testing. My doctor switched me from methadone to oxycontin about 4 months ago, yet I'm still testing positive for it. I was on methadone for over 6 years, but I figured it would have been out of my system within a couple weeks. Yes, I am very inactive because of my condition, and No, I do not drink water......EVER!!! My doctor wanted to change my methadone to a new pain med that starts like L. I believe he said Luna? I take the methadone for RSD and I am not getting the relief that I use to get. I am frightened to start a new medication because I do not want to take something where you build up a tolerance. Presently I take 80mg. of metadone per day in four does of 20mg. It does not show up in my urine or blood so the doctor feels taking a different medication would be what he wants to do. Do you know what type of test they use? Some of the non-certified urine tests can be unreliable and we have had many posts similar to yours. Have you changed anything in your diet? I currently am changing my pain management physicians and there with be a two week time phrame that I will be w/out my pain med. Oxycodone, now I can probable stretch my 28 day (dwk) supply an extra week but there will still be 1 week before I will see my new doctor who will most likley drug screen me my first month, now I do have available a 1week supply of methadone or more that I could take on the 1st week of when I would normally receive my rx n then the last 5to 7 days I could take my normally prescribed med oxycodone soo I guess my question is not wether it will work or not but what exactly methadone will come up as on a urube analysis opposed to oxycodone or if it will show at all especially if I am only using it for a short period of time 7_10 days at most and then 5to7 days off...

i have pills that say s 114 on one side and smooth on the other. They are small and are about the diameter of a pea. are these generic methadone? ## is pill white round 93 on one side 7240 says its gen. methadone but online says resperidal can 2 pills have different names??? ## i received same thing, pharmacy gave them to me for my oxycodone 30mg script.
