Methadone Norco Soma Clonazapam Elavil

I have been on these drugs for over 10 years now and my husband lost his job and insurance and last month I was able to get my medications and am trying to wean myself off of them not so easy as I thought Im now out of soma norco clonazapam and elavil but still have probably 60 methadone left. I cant get to the doctor this month to get refills,so Im scared. My doctor wont see me without any insurance or money,and thats not all he is making me take a what he calls a mandatory drug test to see if the medication is in my system and I have to pay 20 dollars for it. Yesterday I got a bill in the mail from the lab that does the drug test as I was looking at it I found I am also being tested for cocaine,amphetamines,thc,and methadone, and the lab wants me to pay them 290.00 for a drug test every month,why would I have to pay for this when its not anything i asked for and cant afford. Does anybody know if this is legal and should I have to pay for it. He will not see me if I dont pay for my visit and 290.00 for his drug test. Its like hes trying to kill me and thats how I feel. Can anyone help me please. I dont do illegal drugs I cant afford the legal drugs. Elavil is as bad withdrawels as methadone norco clonazapam and I am scared.

Yes, your doctor can require a drug test and, if they do so, it is something you agree to by being their patient and giving them permission to treat you. Normally, however, someone's insurance would cover the test, but you don't have insurance, at this time, which is why you are getting a bill.

As to the medications, some of these may have assistance programs for people that need them, but don't have insurance coverage.

If you can get them through these programs, then you would only need to come up with the money to pay for your doctor's appointment every month.

For instance, there is one for Soma, for information on this program, you can call 866-699-8239 and Klonpin, which is the name brand for the Clonazepam you were taking, as well as your Elavil can all be obtained through this program.

Methadone is a generic and I have no found any assistance programs for it and, unfortunately, the company that manufactures Norco has discontinued their current program.
