It's been 1 week, and 4 days since I last drank a dose. I feel more over whelmed than anything at this point. I'm going crazy in my own head doing anything to drowned out the thoughts constantly watching movies, listening to music, and complicating the positives and negatives well continuing school. It's been almost 6 years since I started taking opiates my body is decayed, malnourished and run down. What I thought was a short term program after trying to quit opiates several times at detox on my 17th birthday I joined the methadone clinic in desperate need. I have areally bad back, herniated discs, crooked, sciatica, spondylosis a and 6mong other problems and excruciating pain. I was at a pain Dr. that lost his lisence and have tried so many places mostly by calling, and asking if they give pain meds. The last place I called said I would have to sign a contract so the DR could take me down 60% off what I am on!!!! The province of BC is switching from the 1mg/ml "tang" method of administration to the 10 mg/mL method on Feb 1st. I am done to 25ml a day and have been there for half a year now. Does that mean I Will be taking 2.5ml of Methadone a day now? I will be starting my, down 1ml a week taper in Jan and was wonderful how I will taper while required to make such small adjustments... From right breast cancer removed and 12 lymph nodes also removed. After that it went to my liver, right lung and then my brain. Due to all the extreme surgeries I am in awful pain. And yes, that is correct, there will not be anymore combination prescription products available with that amount of Acetaminophen after the new year. Have you discussed the issue with your doctor? They may be able to adjust the dose of one of your other medications to help you more.

I am in desperate need of a private doctor that prescribes methadone. I'm a single mom that works 40 hours a week serving tables. However all the money I make goes to the methadone clinic. It cost me 15 dollars a day to dose and 15 in gas to get there. Can someone please help. I can have all documents transferred from the clinic to a doctors office. also my concern about transferring to a private doctor is the milligrams given daily. Will they start me at the same amount of medication? Jacksonville or Saint Augustine area would be great. Also if you know the price of first visit that would be great ## Doctor's in my are give methadone for chronic pain.... No, actually Methadone is not a good option and is usually reserved to be used as a last resort, when someone has exhausted all their other pain management options. The reason for this is because Methadone is very highly addictive and most people never get off of it, even those that use it for addiction treatment, rather than pain. I take methadone 10mg 2x a DAT and norco 10mg prn. I ran out of methadone because it was only lasting 10 hrs. Now I'm left with just the norcos and they just aren't enough. I took some morphine a friend gave me, 15-30mg a day. I have a drug test at my pain clinic tomorrow. Will I test positive for the morphine or will it just show up as an opiate? Is there any foods that could make me show for morphine? You can't just go in and get a dose to prevent them. Greetings, Sorry for the nature of this post and I understand taking unprescribed medication is wrong and I am once again dealing with the aftermath. I'm a 36 year old male, 5'7" 235LB I am a graduate of Teen Challenge a year long program that deals with drug abuse. I have never done it but know many people who have. Why are People so quick to say it's just them when a number are having trouble. We have a patient who has been on methedone for 25 years. He came off it and now is in extreme pain. He has been prescribed strong pain meds but nothing that will help. You actually can't get both, so to speak. If you require Methadone treatment for drug addiction, you'll have to go to a treatment clinic, regular doctors aren't allowed to prescribe it for that….which brings me full circle to the other, if you require it for pain, a pain management specialist can't provide addiction treatment with it, it's basically one or the other. I've been on methadone since 06. I went to pain mang. For a year. Someone in family got.mad because I wouldn't sell my meds + called my pain dr. + said I was selling my meds. Pain dr.let me go. Both it and Methadone can cause depression of the central nervous system, which could cause dangerous lowered heart rate, blood pressure and shallow breathing. I'm Chris Robert 55-years old, and 25-years ago I was a scaffold builder, I fell 80 feet off my scaffold that's the same as falling from a 6-story building.. Needless to say my injuries were plentiful, I've had surgeries on my back, femur bone, hip bone and also tore my scalp almost completely off from landing face first.
