TRYING TO FIND PHARMACY'S THAT WILL FILL METHADONE IN ORLANDO FLORIDA . MY DOCTOR SUGGESTED THAT I GO TO MOM AND POP PHARMACY'S BUT I CAN'T LOCATE ANY. THERE USED TO BE SEVERAL AND NOW THEY SEEM TO HAVE DISAPPEARED. ## they are slowyly creaping back. i counted 4 new ones in orlando (mom pop) pharmacies. However, it isn't likely that it's been caused by the Methadone, if it's just the one eyebrow. Do you take any other medications or supplements? Do you have any other medical conditions?

For the last 18 months I have seen a Pain Management Dr. in Pittsburgh Pa. I really like him. When I first started seeing him, I was on Methadone 30mg 3x a day. But had been on it for the last 6 yrs, so it really wasn't working all that great. In Sept. he put me on Opana 40mg 2 x a day. And it kind of helped. But when they changed its composition, it started to make me throw up. So, my Dr. put me on Morphine Sulfate 60mg 2 x a day. At first it caused severe vomiting. So I called him up, and told the nurse, and told her also that I dumped the bottle down the toilet, because I thought, this stuff, is nasty. I just got a positive lab test for methadone but I have never taken the drug before. I am in a treatment center that gives me meds daily and it has been showing up since I got here. My probation officer thinks i am getting this drug in my treatment center illegally somehow and this is impossible. I am currently taking sertraline, propanolo, oxcarbazepine, trazodone, cetirizine and buspirone. Can any of these or a combination of these cause a certified lab to falsely test urine for methadone? ## I have been reading that Zolft, or sertraline, can cause a false positive for methadone.

Where are doctors who have the guts to give scripts that work? Where are the 30s??? Stop hiding docs and do your jobs..... ## It's not the doctors nor the drugs. It's the drug addicts and dealers is as to why ppl who needs meds for real reasons can't get them. Plus in state of Virginia, all doctors now have to meet with the DEA every six months and go over every patients charts to see if that person needs prescribed meds. That patient must undergo a full pain evaluation once a year for DEA. If their problems, illnesses don't meet certain criteria then dr. has cut them off that drug or lose their lic. ## There are only a few doctors left to prescribe strong narcotics. The best thing you can both do is to find a new physician and make sure that they receive a full copy of your medical records. I am on probation & methadone, I tested positive at both places on Apr 23 & HAVE NOT used since Mar 15! It had 2 b the neurotin that was positive 4 opiates! I didnt know that I would test positive until it had happened! What a scary & depressing result! I have used herion 4 30+ years & I am actually clean 4 the first time! Now I know, the hard way!

Hi i took 40mg of methadone 3 days ago and it was the first time i have ever taken it. Since then i have drank alot of alcohol and was informed a had a drug screen for the military this morning. Before i took the screen i drank about a gallon of water and sat in a sauna for 45 min and sweat a ton. What do u think my chances of passing are since i did that and i have only took it once in myvlife??

I've been trying to stop taking Percocet bc I was up to 10, 10/325's a day so I started taking one 10mg methadone a day for the last month and cut it down to 5mg for the last week. I have a urine test in 10 days. How can I flush the methadone out of my system in 10 days? Is there a juice or herb to cleanse it out? ## Usually out within 3-4 days. Four surely. I used this FIR two years and dropped. Was told no methadone was in my urine. Got in trouble.

i go to my clinic bi weekly. when i went in they said my last drug screen came back negative for methadone. since i get 13 takehomes they take that seriously. i havent done anything different. i take my methadone the same time everyday. well around the same time. i never take more or less. i never sell my methadone wouldnt even think about it. has anyone else had this problem ? what could of happened ## i wish i had an answer, i am in my 8th mo of pregnancy and same as you i would NEVER dream of messing with my meds but i am being accused of using someone elses urine ,,,,please help if you have any answers

I live in MA. I have been going to a methadone clinic for just over 2yrs. I haven't had a "dirty" urine since July 2013. I also had a dirty urine in May 2013. This information comes into play; just bear with me. Last April I had my take home bottles suspended because I did not report that I was taking pravastatin which is a cholesterol pill. I am not kidding! I was so pissed. I was in the dark as to how long my bottles were going to be taken. In May I failed a urine it was after that I was told that my bottles were going to be returned in 3 mos. but because of my bad test they were tacking on 3 more mos. So so so nervous I have finally got me a doctor appointment. I am currently going to a Methadone Maintance Clinic but not for addiction. I was in a severe domestic violence relationship for 11 years. I was shoved down stairs etc. my back kills me. I had no insurance so all I had available was a methadone clinic. I now have a great job with insurance so I can afford a doctor. My wife has been dealing with my H addiction for years. I've done everything you can think of to make her not trust me I've started treatment at a Methadone clinic and I've been sticking to the program for the last almost 2 months and if you knew me that is a big step my dose right now is 100mg and it controls all my cravings and sickness but my wife wanted me to stop at 80 but cravings would still bother me sometimes and I would still get a little withdrawal symptoms at night so I told her I stopped at 80 but I didn't she thinks that I went up to make myself feel high and that I'm doing the Methadone just like H I know that I shouldn't have lied and now that I did it doesn't help me show her that I'm tired of that life I want nothing more than to be a so...

Yes, I am trying to find a way to taper off methadone. I am a recovering addict and I have been in recovery 9 years. In my methadone treatment I was at 70 mg @ day and reduced to my current 30 mg @ day in small amounts over time at the clinic I am in. I have heard that a psychiatrist, under certain conditions could write it. Insurance doesn't cover MMT and my wife and I both go. With one income and 2 kids life is financially impossible. ## Unfortunately, no. Under current U.S. laws to have it administered for addiction treatment or maintenance, it can only be given in a clinical setting by those that are specially trained in its use.
