i've been in a methadone clinic for 5 years. i missed 4 days worth of dosing. i tried to deal with withdrawals, i couldnt. i broke down, and took 1/2 300 mg. on Tuesday and 1 300 mg. on wed.. Thursday at 8am i took half of 800 mg... so i took a total of maybe 800 mg. in 4 days. will it show up in ua after 24 hours of the last one i took?

I have been to several doctors about my knees,I can barely walk at times and its so hard for me to stand at work..ive inquired about the cortisone shots but no one wants to help,all they give is pills that don't help much at all!! Many pain management specialists actually prefer someone try the other options first, before resorting to other options. What is your general location? This information might enable someone to recommend a good doctor in your area. Do you have a PCP that might be able to refer you to someone?

In order to have Methadone prescribe for any reason, you'll need to actually be physically seen by a doctor for an exam and regular monitoring, while you're on it, so it cannot be prescribed and ordered online. As to getting a doctor to prescribe it, that depends on what you're taking it to treat. If you're taking it for pain, then you'd need to see a pain management specialist. However, if it's for addiction treatment, then you can only be treated for that in a clinical setting by those specially trained in its use for such and it would be illegal for a regular doctor to prescribe it for that. Ima methadone addict of 14 years and the clinic who prescribe me will not engage in sense i have only had 2 or 3 appointments ion the last two years, i wish to come off this horrible drug (60mls currently) and move on, they wont even support me trying to get a job so i sit on benefits which i hate i want a social life and a job im sorry i asked for their help all those years ago, the clinic in question is Tayside Drugs Misuse Service. I was on a clinic for eight years (at 240 mgs, then 150), came off but had a doctor prescribe me 160mg for 1 1/2 yrs., got cutoff in October. Switched to Suboxen for 2 weeks but hated it (went into precipitated withdrawal), got back on methadone at 40 mgs (from my husband), quit 11 days ago because I want to get back on a clinic, and started doing dope. I live in columbus I am 37 years old and I am looking for a doctor that gives methadone with out a problem I am sick of being treated like a criminal just because I am in pain. I was in a auto 04/2010. My back is broke in several places and my L shoulder. My family an I were told I need a 24 hr operation on my back and a 12 hr operation to replace my shoulder. We were told I would not.survive either and need to be on comfort care with pain meds the rest of my life. I moved to cottage gove,mn 07/2014 and have been treated like I"m a street drug addict. I have been going to a methadone clinic for 7 years, I have been clean from all substance for 3 years. All of a sudden I get told I have a postive Urine for benzos. The only medication I take benedryl every night to sleep, and clonidine for blood pressure. Do u think the benedryl could have gave me a false positive? Please help!

changing from Methadone for pain to Suboxone for pain. Pain clinc is trying to pass the buck, I cant find a GP in or around the Trenton Ontario area to prescribe. I have been taken 150 mg pill form for 6 years works good. But moved pain clinc is in Oakville Ontario usually pain clinc wants your GP to take over prescribing but most GPs are nervous because they have to get a section 56 Methadone exemption. Canadian government needs to make it easier to get, would help out a lot of people. Try going to a Addiction centre just to get Medication closer to home. Additionally, even if you do, diatomaceous earth isn't proven to eradicate them and I am unable to find any information on how it would affect Methadone. Have you consulted your doctor regarding this? I was given a ua test today (January 28-2015) at my new pain management clinic and it tested positive for methadone. I have never even seen that drug let alone taken it. I am taking Cymbalta, trazadone, adderall, and have taken benadryl the last few nights. I also take 800mg ibuprofen about 2-3xs a day and 650 tylenol 2-3xs a day. Can any of those combinations cause that false positive for methadone? I'm just totally dumbfounded about this because I have never ever touched, seen or taken that stuff? I was not even sure what it is used for until the doctor told me!!! Please help me figure this out! They are sending it to the lab for further testing but I am hoping to have some sort of answers as to how it happened in the first place. Thank you anyone who can help me.
