Looking for a new doctor to prescribe methadone for chronic pain. Due to new law in union city, tn have to find a doctor in western ky, for back and neck problems. Been on prescribed methadone for 12 or so years. Please in need of a doctor who can help.

What is this pill used for and how many times a day should I take them? Also how many milligrams are they? Will they help me to stop the urge to take opiates? If so how many days will it take to help me not feel sickness without taking opiates? For 3 years i have been on methadone, currently on 25mg. I tried to come off myself and for the first time in my life i stupidly took a delibrite overdose 6 days ago of 700mg of methadone. I ended up in hospital and they saved me with naloxone. Very stupid i know. I am going into a detox clinic next week for a year and to start with they detox you on 2 weeks of subbys. i haven't took any methadone or any drugs since saturday. It is now thursday and im not really rattling yet. Am i better to now stay off the methadone till next week? My way of thinking is that maybe the naloxone has got rid of some opiates but i have been clean for 5 days so why put more methadone into my body when it takes longer to detox and in 5 to 6 days i will be going onto a subby detox any way. I have been taking 30 ml of done for about a month. On tues I m switching to subutex. I was going to take my last dose of done Sunday then take nothing Monday. Go to the dr tues to start subutex. I know I will def be sick by then but want to make sure it's long enough cause I heard the horror story's of not waiting long enough. I've been a H, pill addict for about ten hears. I was on sub for about two years until last spring when I went to rehab. Got sober for a short period and f***ed up making a bad choice starting this cycle again. I spend over 400$ a month for almost 13 years at two methadone clinics. Now i am hearing that i can fill the same script for a fraction of that cost. Is this a hoax? If not could you advise me on which pharmacies will do it and what steps do i need to know

I was involved in (MVA) Motor Vehicle Accident the year 2012. I was a passenger seated behind the passenger's seat. A big vehicle hit on ours from the left hand side where I was seated. Our vehicle rolled, the wheels were facing up - roof on the ground. I got out of the vehicle last as after people were calling my name for several times to get out of the vehicle. They were scared and thinking that the vehicle might get burned. I knew that I was in MVA and I must get out quickly but I didn't. I been on Methadone maintenance for 12 years. I was put on the 450. I tapered down very slowly 100 milligrams, and now I'm been detoxed involuntary by 5 milligrams a day for the next 21 days! I have never been so scared in my life. I know I'm going to be very sick!!! Does anyone know how to make this detox easier on me? I go to a methadone clinic and it helps my back pain and cravings but the drive every morning is becoming very hard . Can someone please help me out wt a listing . I have MRi's ## Methadone clinics are for those that are receiving Methadone treatment for their addiction. It will be almost impossible, if not impossible, for you to find a dr that will prescribe you Methadone for chronic pain. MRI's don't matter when you've been receiviing treatment for opiate addiction.

I live in Scotland and I have my first appointment to see a doctor for methadone next tuesday but I am still showing benzos in my urine even though I haven't had any for a few weeks. Alot of people keep telling me I might not get my script as the doctors are quite strict with prescribing methadone when showing benzos in urine. I am so desperate to get a start on this medication because I am determend I want onto a recovery programme and have even stated I want a reduction as soon as possible as well. My pain management Doctor is retiring. He has been my pain doc and also my doc for everything else. I am down to 3 10mg tablets of methadone 3xday, 1 quick release morphine 30mg. Also take thyroid meds and two different meds for high blood pressure and time release Effexor for depression. I need to find new doctor or pain clinic. I live on the north Oregon coast, but could travel to Portland, OR. Could you give me advice. I am almost 65 years old, {edited for privacy}.

How many should I take at a time? I have a script for my head aches. I used to be addicted to muscle relaxers ( I don't any more and as an out come I'm now on Methadone) so I think I may have a higher tolerance and I used to take four - five T3's at a time. So if they're only 1's I'd be not thinking right just guessing but i don't want to assume and take to many... does this make sense?.. ## This tablet is listed as only containing 500mgs of Acetaminophen, so it is not going to compare to any opiate for pain relief and you can't take more than 1,000mgs at any given dosing and no more than 3,000mgs in 24 hours. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and headache. Is there anything else I can help with?

I am a chronic pain management patient with ( I have been told by my doctors) no chance of ever being off pain meds. I have a serious disease I can barely pronounce. At any rate, my opioids are so difficult to managethat it is driving me crazy. Every 800 or 888 number I can find is just a 12 step person who tells me that it is a terrible choice. I've been going to a methadone clinic for 3 weeks now. They had me on a 95mg dose. I was taking opiates before. Ok so this is exactly what just happened to me. Tuesday i went to my clinic to get my weekly take homes. I come in every tuesday. Well two weeks ago I got drug tested an popped positive for methamphetamine. Now my problem is as she's going over my u/a's all of them recently all the way back to May, I have failed two more for opiates, marijuana and benzos, and one for coke and methamphetamine.
